Final Four 811 VCU +2.5 If there is one thing we expect to see in this matchup is that VCU will knock down the shot when needed late in the game, which is what Butler's opponents have not been able to do. A simple handicap will be that VCU knocked out perhaps the best team in the Tournament in Kansas and did so effortlessly in the first half and played prevent-defense in the second half. Give me three quarters of that game and it is better than anything Butler has done on the floor IMO. For once I'm not sure where the number is going to go here, but I made Butler -1. 814 U Conn +2.5 The tireless Huskies play the better defense and a half court game that is supposed to wear their opponents down, and this is what we constantly see from a well coached team. UNC did not play any defense, left every wingman open for the three point shot and let Kentucky get the key lead late in the game. Connecticut doesn’t let you do that. They can be down by as little as 2-3 points and always seem to bounced back . No question these are the two better teams left in the Big Dance. The winner of this matchup wins it all IMO and at +220 U Conn is worth a look.
