fyi, I HATE this NBA....................... But I'm starting to hate it less...............

COuld you do as well in the regular season if you watched the games or do you think there is too much randomness with the players not giving a shit till playoff time?

Just a different animal.........the regular season HAS to be easier However, since I am spending an hour on each game, I think I am able to fully research it to its fullest. ALSO, I don't have to worry about injuries.......everyone is going to play almost always, of course the Haslem (sp) returns do happen. I'm sure the regular season is easier.......... However, for me I clearly UNDERSTAND the NBA playoffs, and the trends to follow, the situations to look for, AND I'm actually watching this crap, which DOES help.

Motivation is a HUGE regular season variable. It's hard to know for sure whether, for example, MIA is up for a random west coast Tues. Night game in Jan. against a 6-23 SAC squad. It adds to the negative variance.
