The Heat may win 5 titles............. If they can get this one, say HELLO to Dynsasty

Any chance it is the other way? ie. win this one or win possibly none? The 3 man superstar teams seem to be required to win championships not a guarantee. The only difference is the Heat have James of course. The transaction to me was always about just competing to win a championship--just like they said. The Thunder are already 2/3 to a better 3 players than the Heat have-----especially 3 years from now and probably next year IMO. The Grizzlies aren't kidding Marc Gasol might be better than Pau. Now I understand that trade. And he probably will be better next year. Randolph is the best power forward in the league according to Durant and I saw Bosh for years and Randolph is better when he plays well they've got 2 superstars and maybe they can find a 3rd. The Lakers and Celtics found the strength of the bench was the extra step you needed to go to win. The Celtics found Rondo and made it a 4th superstar required while the others declined. And still couln't beat the Lakers. Are the Heat 2 main superstars good enough to beat the other teams? Is James just a pre-eminent enough superstar to beat the other teams? They don't have the bench right now IMO and in a few years they won't have youth on their side. Collecting bargaining and salary caps will all play a role in how things develop. James and Wade might be enough this year to win a championship. I doubt it in 2 years and probably not next year either. 5 years no way. That is more in the hands of Pat Riley than the guys they have now.

They have the two best players in the league! Hell, James almost won a championship ALONE @Clev! This team, with a year under their belts is going to POUND everyone next year in the playoffs.

Earlier this year you stated that Under 2 1/2 on Heat Championships for the next 6 years was the right side. Sounds like you have changed your mind??

I doubt they win more than 1. If they were in the west this year and had to play memphis, okc, and the lakers they wouldn't even make it to the finals. Boston would have beat them had they not traded Perkins and still may do so. The spot was great in game 1 for the Heat and they were on the verge of losing in the 4th quarter even with Pierce, Garnett, and Rondo playing like dogshit. Although the Bulls have looked like shit they will give Miami everything they can handle. As for the long term outlook they are maxed out cap wise and can't add anything. Wade is older and is already brittle. Miller has been a bust, Bosh seems to choke in every big game situation. The coach is a moron. OKC will only get better, Lakers or Boston will reload when Howard is a free agent. Paul will improve some team greatly. Bulls will be better.

Agree on most, Paul was SERIOUS hot and cold since the injury, had a couple of 0-8 games, even with very few assists... stunk it up so bad its scary. Wade = brittle, defense less than half the time, doesn't get back, choses when to hustle. Saddest part is, he WAS on the paceto be the best, then Shaq corrupted him. His rookie year he was a meek, humble christian type who vented his agression on the floor -- absolute Beast year 1 & 2. Now, barely even good and the worst part is he still does his cocky ass "this is my house" type antics. Freakin puss
