The Heat may win 5 titles.............
Are we even sure that the Bulls get past Atlanta?? At the rate these playoffs are going Miami may be playing Atlanta and then Memphis although I sure hope not or it will be VERY expensive for me.
Atlanta plays well with the lead, but can't handle adversity. Think multiple 40+ losses at home. Think scored 50 at home. You're fine.
Bulls still learning about playoff basketball. I have watched most of the their playoff games, they are defending just as good as the regular season only difference is teams are making some real lucky horse shit shots with no time remaining on the clock. Atlanta was on the verge of getting run out in game 1, a shot or two clank instead of falling and they would have quit. Hardrock has them pegged correctly.
Miami in a different league right now hope they get the breaks.
the winner of dallas okc. And if it is OKC, hello dynasty. And a low market one at that...to quote the great john wooden, basketball isn't a game of size and strength, its a game of speed and precision timing. I would add the coach matters a ton, too.
If they get by Boston, who is going to stop them this year?

I'm so sick of hearing Wade is one of the best in the league. He isn't even top 5. Guy mails it in on a regular basis. Absolute punk that wade fucker Derrick Rose LeBron Kobe Paul Pierce Dirk Dwight Durant all better. and personally I'd rather have Rondo, all considered he's a nightmare for opposition, more so than Wade. All Respect to the Great Fezzik. no sarcasm.
What is your criteria for the above list and Rondo to be better than Wade? Points per game, scoring efficiency? What are you basing this on? Wade is clearly in the top 5 in the NBA and I would say after LeBron and Kobe he is next. Don't ever apply to be a NBA GM and sorry you lost your Celtic game and series bets. LOL
If they get by Boston, who is going to stop them this year?
Something to ponder. Haslem, the starting 6 man was out most of the season. He will be back either this series or the next. If he can produce anything, forget it. The above sentence is 100%.
This is Miami's year and their best chance for a title IMO. I'll agree that next year may be a similar chance though. I think the over 2.5 titles is way out there in terms of likelihood. Haslem will make a difference if he's healthy. But who will beat them? And it is 100% because of Haslem? I have to strongly disagree with that. The Lakers get no love on this board at all. Fezzik obviously not much support and if they lose it is a nice call by Fezzik. But if the Lakers get to the final and they play the Heat, IMO the Lakers win. And they'll make sure they'll gloat it was easier than beating Boston or Orlando at the end of it even it wasn't. Why would they win? The're deeper obviously, their star players may not be the 2 best if that is even true for Miami, but they have 1 of top 3 and 3 of the top 20 and I won't even get to where Artest, Bynum or Fisher may fit in the mix as pieces you'd love to have to win a championship. Or Brown. Their coach isn't bad either I guess. If the Mavs make it to the final, I guess the Heat should win. But one thing that will be false is that Miami has the best 2 players in the game. It will be absolutely clear that Dirk is the best player in the NBA if Dallas works their way to the finals. And if they get there, I do think they can win against Miami. The Thunder and Grizzlies are interesting opposition for Miami. I would love to see the Thunder and the Heat. The Thunder's future is bright and the next 30 days might be brighter. IMO they have their 2 stars, the meanest SOB in the league at center and another center who is pretty good, a little bit of depth and a good coach. I don't know if it would be enough to beat Miami but I don't see why not either? So far the Heat beat the 76ers and held home court against the Celtics. Let's see if they win this series. Shaq might be back, the Celtics will be rested on the weekend perhaps they have enough to get it done. Does not look likely though but even if the Heat win this series it is no surprise obviously.
Take out that 9-8 transition start, AND remember Mia0-19 in gm winning shots this yr This team is going to be a MONSTER next year.
I guess Dallas made it to the finals. I said I think they could win. I actually even got some of that +260 which was a great idea by Fez. Now that Dallas is here, I do think I'm sort of right that Dirk MUST be one of the 2 best players in the NBA...at least last week. But.. At this point, who is seriously really on Dallas? Yes, they play hard and they've looked great. The Lakers blowout was really something except I'm tainted in that I assume now there was something badly wrong with the Lakers internally. And it might not be fair because whatever their problems were I'm sure Dallas made it a lot worse in those first 2 games in LA. But I just can't get over really how good LeBron is. I don't want to give them 5 titles---but if they were to get 5--- would they really not get this one? And really, could this be any easier? This whole playoff run with unexceptional teams they've played combined with some good fortune capped off by a final series now with the Washington Generals. (Granted a Generals team with a billionaire owner and Dirk. This is America there has to be some show.) LeBron can't lose this one can he? But admittedly there is pressure because if they lost it would be embarrassing. Get the Lakers you can at least keep BS'ing about getting better, it still takes more time, etc. Not here. Not for this series. I don't want to say they couldn't win a few titles if they didn't win this year but to strike while the iron is hot is good strategy and I think the iron is very hot right now. Beating Miami 4 out of 7, man that seems daunting doesn't it for Dallas? I've seen Dallas look great all year. Everyone except Dirk just seems like a retread. Guys who disappointed everywhere else. Marion in TO, Chandler in NO and Charlotte, Barea--he used to stink didn't he? Kidd, he's washed up I thought? Stevenson is a total draft bust I thought? Including the coach--how did he get this job? Didn't he do lousy at Detroit and Indiana? I'm trying to lay -166 at Matchbook on the Heat but so far not filled.
