HEAT UNDER 64.5 Wins, -120 at the M

HEAT UNDER 64.5 Wins, -120 at the M I just chunk bet this. No reason to think the Heat care about anything but the NBA title. At the 1st sign of clinching home field, I expect God and Flash to start resting up. AND it's no given they even get to 62 wins going allout with the roster of misfits, outcasts, and Fish That Saved Pittsburg tryouts that are going on right now. ACtually, the entire thing reminds me of the Fish That Saved Pittsburgh but with two Dr. Js.
There will be about 20 games this year that will not be decided by Lebron, Wade or Bosh. Pat Riley, the NBA scheduler, made or missed buzzer-beaters, and the NBA playoff seeding system (as noted in the post above) will decide the rest. Miami is faced with the daunting task of getting the right people to make them truly dominant. IMO, things from right now to the end of the season will have to go PERFECT for them to win 65 games, and that includes some serious steals on the free agent market, which I don't see right now.
68 wins easy if all 3 stay healthy if they get any help at all to come along (Mike Miller, Fish, Zeus, Shaq, etc etc...) Can you imagine the line when the Heat (possibly early or midway thru the year) are in the midst of a 7-10 game winning streak and the T'Wolves or Wizards stroll into town with a 14-30 record or something on the back end of a road back to back? It is possible we might see some 18.5 point lines... Don't underestimate how good this trio is. This is possibly the overall best trio (Overall talent) in the history of the NBA.
Mad respect for you Burger, but I disagree on this one. The Lakers won 56 games in 2003-2004 with Kobe, Shaq, Malone, Payton, and Devean George/Rick Fox starting, and that team had a better bench than Miami has any hope of assembling. Ok, the west was more competitive than the east will be, but I'm just making a point. I don't think Wade, Bosh, and LeBron realize their work is barely half-way done putting this team together. It is crucial they get the rest of the team filled-out with some quality players who fit in. Hour-long specials and photo-ops are sexy, but these guys need to be working overtime to get players in town and all three and GM Pat Riley should be waiting at the airport for every decent vet that flies in to convince them to play for the title for $1 mil this year with a back-loaded contract structured to make up the difference later. I don't see 68 wins & tons of 20 point victories. What's more likely to happen is the big three will have to go 42 minutes just to win the game on the front end of a B2B on the road cause their bench sucks, and then end up in an arena in Charlotte 18 hours later in front of 20,000 psycho fans in the game of the year for the Bobcats. Day-to-day life in the NBA is the great neutralizer.

BoDog has the Ov/Un for Heat chamionships at 2 1/2 for the next 6 years. Also have the total wins for the Cavs at 33 1/2. Any thoughts on these Fezz??
Under 2.5 looks great. Uhoh. Ties up money for 7 years! PASS. 33.5 looks about right.

Shaq was already on the decline and Kobe was just getting to his peak. Lebron, Wade, and Bosh are all 3 at the PEAK of their careers and will literally destroy teams by 20-30 points several times next year. You will see plenty of flashing scores during the early part of the season Heat 64 Nets 38 at the half...giving the terrific trio ample rest time in the 2H's. I don't think their bench is going to be nearly as bad as some think... Haslem is reportedly signing back with the Heat after turning down mid-level exception offers from the Mavericks and Nuggets. Zeus wants to reteam with Lebron. Shaq isn't out of the question. Stackhouse said he would sign for the Vet minimum and play there if they would have him (He played very well for the Bucks last season). Mike Miller is still a likely possibility. Joel Anthony isn't a bad big to have on your team either. We shall see. Either way it should be super exciting.

Haslem and Miller officially on board. This team is just getting better and better. Possibly a 70 win season upcoming.
