HEAT UNDER 64.5 Wins, -120 at the M
Haslem and Miller officially on board. This team is just getting better and better. Possibly a 70 win season upcoming.
You know hoops much better than me. How is this new Heat team going to be stopped? Against, Orlando, Howard will foul out by the half with Wade and James driving to the hoop all day long. With Boston, who are they going to use to guard Wade and James. Seems to be a powerhouse.
Given the excitement, I would wait to fade Miami in the season wins department. Sounds like you could get 66 the way things are going. I don't think it's profitable to keep a position out of pure stubbornness if you got qualified sharps taking the other side, but I'd have to fade anything 65 or over. The public could push this number up. The better the number, the more I'd take.
the heat will get everyone's best shot, it will be like they are the superbowl champs, that has to count for something, any injury to one of the big three and they don't get to 60. Terrific bet I'm on it, Orlando won't take it laying down, chicago is counting the days on this one, my qustion is who's going to be the first to cry about there stats being down 'the king" or " wade world". Burger love ya man but give me the limit, under 70 wins
No NBA team can ever be lined at 66 Historically, you simply have to play any under 64.5 vs. an unproven squad.

Big Z leaving Cleveland to join Lebron in Miami. Looks like veterans are willing to do a little ring hunting.. hope he doesn't get blasted by the Cleveland owner!

Zeus now on board.
64.5 is going to be a bad number with all the money they had left over for the big 3 taking less you knew the roster was going to get filled out pretty good like it has. This situation sounds very similar to Boston in 07 where they killed it against the spread in the regular season because semi sharps have this automatic fade the best team in the league thinking keeping the line lower than it should be. You would have to think market will correct itself sooner than with the Celts but I wouldn't doubt that Heat have a positive ATS record at seasons end.

As square as it is...square wins in the NBA many many times and there should be "a plenty" of Heat 34-12 3Q scores and the like easily covering 2H spreads after going thru the motions in the 1H's.
Love the under but will let it get bet up till season time. Wade has bad knees and a bad shoulder Lebron has a nerve problem in his elbow and/or is slightly psychotic. Plus if he plays in Cleveland his odds of finishing the season must go down 10%. Bosh is good but not great. Z has two bad feet... The odds of this team not being exhausted and someone being injured all season is very very low. There's a good chance by February Lebron and Wade hate each other. Throw in karma, and under all the way. I wonder how much can be made blindly betting the dog in every game vs these guys or the dog 1H. Better question is will Lebron be broke 20 years from now? I think there is easily a 50% chance. He has his posse. He has a $35M house in Akron that he can never sell. He is buying a $50M house in Miami now that is probably really worth $20M. The guy will probably make $250-300M in his career plus $300-700M in endorsements. Take out taxes and all told, he makres $325 - 750M. Guy is clearly an arrogant moron. If he just picks up a gambling habit, he's done - ala Antoine Walker
I don't foresee this number going up higher than 64.5. All the hype will eventually die down and I think this will get bet lower. I don't think this team even wins 60.
