HEAT UNDER 64.5 Wins, -120 at the M
I don't foresee this number going up higher than 64.5. All the hype will eventually die down and I think this will get bet lower. I don't think this team even wins 60.
I'll take OVER 59.5 and lay -125 for whatever limit you want to post up with an escrow holder.
I'll take OVER 59.5 and lay -125 for whatever limit you want to post up with an escrow holder.
Why would he do that?
Because he doesn't think they would win 60.
burger I'll take under 65 for $200 loser donates to haiti relief
burger I'll take under 65 for $200 loser donates to haiti relief
I'll take OVER 63 for $200 but (and excuse my harshness) but screw donating the winnings to Haiti relief... Either anything involved with katrina or anything involved with the BP gulf coast disaster. Our biggest problem is sending money out of the country for relief efforts while our own people suffer.
Because he doesn't think they would win 60.
Right.. So, he is going to take 3 games worse than the current market just b/c Burger challenged him. It's silly.
Right.. So, he is going to take 3 games worse than the current market just b/c Burger challenged him. It's silly.
Is it? Or is stating that he doesn't think they will win 60 when the debate is in the 63-65 range silly? How about this then? I think the Dallas Cowboys will win OVER 4 games next year? Any takers?
burger, just read today how fired up wade is about proving people wrong about next years winning expectations. things would have to go perfect for miami to win 65 and in the nba they just seem to go threw the motions way to often, anyway I'm a fan of yours,
I disagree with Fez's comment that the Big 3 will not care about anything other than winning the NBA title. I have seen nothing but comments and staging that they expect to be the greatest team of all time. Winning the first seed in the East is not their ambition. They want to be known as the greatest team ever. The other Heat players are not all that terrible. I am impressed with the crew they have signed up. Does anybody think this crew is worse than the 2009-10 Cavs, the team that won 61 games? Sportsbook did have the number at 62 games earlier, now up to 62.5. In 2008-09, the Cavs won 66 games as did the Celtics in 2007-08. Dallas won 67 in 2006-07. Was Dallas a better team than the Heat are today? Wasn't the West a much better conference then than the East is today? That being said, I would not bet OVER 64.5 wins for Miami. BUT, I would not be betting UNDER 64.5 Miami wins. I firmly believe there will be much better season win NBA totals out in a few months. Also, a gun to my head, I would prefer to bet OVER 62 wins than UNDER 64.5 wins. JMO, Jim
Kind of to Kruger's point... Do yall remember how hard the new look Celtics played during the regular season that first season? Granted, I think Garnett and Pierce might be more blue collar than these 3 guys that went to south beach ;), but I think there will still be some of that "newness" to this first regular season that will keep them motivated. No bet either way for me at 63-64. Here are the W-L records that scared me off the under. 07-08 Celtics 66-16 08-09 Cavs (Lebron with worse roster) 66-16 09-10 Cavs 61-21. Didn't get there, but provides more sample that Lebron was about 64 wins with Cavs roster over 2 seasons. This roster is better than Cavs roster... but the East is probably stronger than 08-09, so that would help the under bettors.
