N.O. Hornets-1
A little pressure building on the Warriors right now as new owner Joe Lacob says he fully expects this team to be 2 games above .500 by the break (would have to go like 11-2 until the break to do this), has been questioning some of Keith Smarts rotations, and hinted that a blockbuster trade is looming (most likely involving Andris Biedrins and one of either Monta Ellis/Stephen Curry).
Andris Biedrins is just flat out awful right now and the Warriors (9-7 last 16 games) are coming off 2 straight losses where the defense has been sliding backwards.
Warriors have some very winnable games upcoming after this one but the Hornets come in tonight looking for 10 in a row and Chris Paul and co. should be extremely motivated after blowing a big lead at home to the Warriors a few weeks back and losing in N.O.
Steph Curry hurt his ankle (the same one he missed 8 games because of and this makes 5 times this season he has twisted the ankle) in practice yesterday and will start although he looks about 75% according to my sources.
Chris Paul is also coming off an ankle injury sustained the other night but seems to be 100%.
My feel for this Warriors team is pretty zoned in and although I always pull for them, I just think they let this one get away late and the Hornets sneak out with a 5-7 point victory.
