This is truly just getting ridiculous. Keeps happening over and over and of course the favorite usually covers also.

I agree. I cannot believe how many times the favorite buzzer-beating shot is an isolation ending up in a wild, off-balance long jumper. If that is such a great play, why don't teams use it frequently in the middle of a game? Last I recall is Miami, with 2 of the best players in the game, are 1 of 19 on shots in the last 10 seconds of a game within 3 points margin. Of course, I had bet the UNDER 180, so I was especially aggravated with the OT.

However I do not think any Ref is going to call a foul in that situation. With a final possesion in a tie game a ref is not going to make a call if a player drives to the basket unless it is just a total obvious foul, and the players know this. Refs do not want to decide it at the end of a game, especially in a big playoff game like this. I had the under also, so I was not happy for the extra time.

Rose tried the same iso against LJ with around 28 seconds to go. Same bad result. Time to start doing Dallas versus Miami research.

Don't forget Miami did the same thing end of regulation and possession with :26 left. Let Lebron dribble at top of key and go one on one. Three possessions last minute of game all isolations = zero points.

I backed the under and Chicago plus so I'm a double loser. Regarding Rose taking the ball to the basket, the officials had no trouble making a correct offensive foul on LeLoser with 8 seconds left in regulation so I'm not believing they would swallow there whistle on a drive to the hole. Basic baskets worked all night long but when the game went street it went to hell.......

After doing it once and missing badly, you can't let that be your go-to play w/ 8 seconds left. Deng was wide open behind the 3 line, Rose should have driven sooner and passed out. Painful to watch.
