Is there a coach that gets less out of a lot more than.... Rick Barnes. What a terrible coaching job this year. Preseason Top 5 and lose in the first round as a #8 seed.
He lost a lot of talent like Roy WIlliams did and does. Durant could still be there for crying out loud. Overall he does a heck of a job. Like NC not a great year but expectations are absurd. Can't be top 5 every year.
what a Dunce The kid hitting 90% at foul line after missing 2 in row and nailing the next 2 should had been on line instead of Big Man
who missed both shots...
Texas snatched defeat in the jaws of a victory
Barnes and coaches should had made sure EVERYONE knew
Brown was going to fouled and go to line
What a way to end a season, youth or not...
He also gets a ton of talent every year and has the best facilities and one of the few athletic departments that actually operate in the black. This team has had more bad first halves in the last 2 months than any team I have seen.
Roy Williams only can win national titles when he has 4 first-round draft picks.
I lament the fact that it's only an arms race to see how much talent you can acquire and not actually teaching them how to play. It is now athletes playing basketball and not basketball players playing basketball.
By the way, Obi One played Wake Forest +5 and told me
Texas was one of the dumbest teams in this field..
The Old Man still amazes me, I don't think he has watched
10 games this entire year, Only looks at numbers and stats

I believe this statement to be "right on the button"
No Inside Presence, Poor Guard Play When TJ Ford was there the Longhorns had a cast of burly rebounders and garbagemen inside who were not pretty but were highly effective. Yesteday kids listed as "G" or "G/F" in the boxscore played 179 of the 240 player minutes in the game. When you do that you're going to get outrebounded 56-31, aren't you?
Billy Donovan and Rick Barnes are now both paying the price for "legacy hoodwink" Jai Lucas. If Lucas didn't have a famous dad he never would have sniffed either program. Despite Texas having enormous issues with guard play Lucas played more than 7 minutes in only one of the Longhorns last 9 games. Played one minute yesterday and managed to go 0-1 from the field.
