LA/Tulsa Preview, line LA -15 153.5 Interesting game.
LA. 3rd best team in the WNBA (Minny a clear 1st, Indy a clear 2nd IMO). Candace Parker is a top 10 player in the League, and with the Alphabet Girl from stanford (she has every letter in the Alphabet) this team's bigs are really, really good, and their guard play is solid also. LA is a contender.
Tulsa. Wow. Getting great play from their midget guards, Ivory Latta and the other girl from Phx Johnson. Their bigs are horrible. LA will kill them inside. Tulsa off a bunch of games vs. non stellar competition, lost ALL of em, all close. Tulsa HORRENDOUS shooting 3s last year, this year they have been lucky/good from 3. Do they run out of steam here, and got rolled? Quite possibly......I think the $$ will come ON Tulsa initially, let's wait for -14.
Good battle this year Wash vs. Tulsa who will lose more games. Neither will win 6, it's gonna be a good battle. This Tulsa team was historically bad last year. This year's Wash team is GOD AWFUL and still was up 15 on this Tulsa team. NO WAY TUlsa can compete here.
I think Tulsa has a huge problem. They are talking up "IMPROVED DEFENSE!", but with those midgets at guards, their ideal game is to go helter skelter up the court, BUT the rest of the team is so terrible they will get killed doing it. And in a half court, the tiny guards won't be effective. Their doomed to a horrible season.
