I keep telling you that the clock stops during made baskets in the last minute of each quarter (last 2 minutes of Q4 and OT); it's not a matter of teams inbounding quickly. The following is from the NBA rulebook: Section V-Stoppage of Timing Devices a. The timing devices shall be stopped whenever the official's whistle sounds indicating one of the following: (1) A personal or technical foul. (2) A jump ball. (3) A floor violation. (4) An unusual delay. (5) A suspension-of-play for any other emergency (no substitutions are permitted.) (6) A regular or 20-second timeout. b. The timing devices shall be stopped: (1) During the last minute of the first, second and third periods following a successful field goal attempt. (2)During the last two minutes of regulation play and/or overtime(s) following a successful field goal attempt.
The timekeepers clearly are unaware of this rule....... Over and over I see the clock running.....
No, they throw the in bounds passes in so fast it only looks like the clock never stopped running.

No what happends is clearly the timekeeper anticipates the ball getting thrown in And thus never stops the clock.
And thus never stops the clock.
I'm going to check this out. I think the clock stops too...
it did stop in memphis i think this rule could easily let the home team cheat stop the clock selectively
