Marquette/Providence

Marquette/Providence Did anyone see how this ended? I had Providence +2 and thought I was in good shape.

Providence was down 6 and hit a 3, then stole the inbounds and cut it to 1. Marquette got fouled and made 2. Providence took a 3and missed than the ball was loose and Prov couldn't get another shot.

I didn't realize they were down six at the end. When I last looked (mid-2nd half?) they had been winning most of the way.

I had +3 on the buy (-120). Providence can't defend for shit. Marquette got a couple big offensive rebounds in the last couple minutes. That herky-jerky Tom Davis style keeps them in games, but they won't be able to beat good teams when it matters b/c they can't stop people. Much like the Iowa teams of the late 80's and early 90's under Dr. Tom.

i was watching the game thinking the samething shooter. marquette had a ton of wide open looks.
