Miami: Are they suddenly a powerhouse or just lucky?

Miami: Are they suddenly a powerhouse or just lucky? Powerhouse Arguement: It took time to gel during the season, and to get used to each other. The regular season doesn't matter. Haslem is back and he is the cog they needed. They are now 10-3 in the playoffs and rolling. The much despised Bosh is finally playing like a 3rd superstar. They won 58 games despite going something like 0-18 in shots with the game on the line. 5 titles coming. Lucky: Who are we kidding? This team consistently got beaten up by all good teams all year long, and couldn't win any close games. Boston killed them game 3, and even with a 1 armed Rondo, they should have lost game 4. Game 5 was a coinflip, and somehow they won by 8. Vs. Chicago, they got woodshedded game 1, then the game was tied with 5:00 left game 2. The Bulls are banged up, and frankly played below par all playoffs. Fezzik Take: A hybrid. I think both are pretty true.
more minutes Once the playoffs come around the better players play....If needed Lebron will play 45+ minutes...same with Wade... too much heat...Bulls need another shooter.. tons of defense... without the open looks they fall short vs. a very good team.
Seriously? They became a powerhouse the moment the Decision was announced. Just because they were often the team with less urgency and had a bulleye during the six month seeding round means little.
it helps they have 8 days in between games instead of playing back 2 back like regular season

Bulls have played subpar all playoffs----Check. Heat playing big 3 40 minutes a game in this series.---Check. Gel argument has to be somewhat true.---Check. Bosh playing better or LeBron, Riley and Spoelstra being smarter. They won Game 2 without much offense from Bosh but LeBron and Dwade shot 20 for 37 in that game. They are good enough to do that but to shoot that high a percentage consistently is difficult especially for anybody incorporating alot of jump shots in their game. It is so tiring to keep going for layups and driving the hoop to shoot a higher percentage and playing 40 minutes a game it is even harder. If trust your teammates is the mantra I said this on an earlier post run the whole half court O through Bosh as the primary scorer. He can't be stopped with single coverage that is his own resume. LeBron and Dwade will be fresher for their 40 minutes which is critical for their own D and fast break points. I'm still not down with 5 wins but totally agree with rexd that this was the team to beat this year and probably next year. None of their Big 3 is a young player in this league. LeBron seems like he's been in the year forever without winning a championship. It can't be any more likely once he's over 30.
The announcer, I believe it was Kerr, made a huge point last game which I had never thought too much about previously: the big 3 all need no one to switch to make them better defensivly on a given possession, therefore all game long you have 4, with haslem, teir 1 defenders. granted no bench and granted bibby is so far less than a zero he makes Carlos Arroyo look like MJ. I still think that teamwork, timing, team attitude trumps the raw talent any day but with the strong D...yea they can win a lot. see Kyle korver vs. lebron in the open court for how scary these guys can become. Very intimidating...
If you think they are lucky this year, rumors of them adding NeNe next season are strong . Strike or no strike.
