NBA minds, what's next ?

NBA minds, what's next ? Laker/ Thunder series. I have a Thunder series bet at +750. I believe the Lakers prevail in 7 games, but perhaps I'm wrong. Would any of you hedge some LA series before Game 5 at - 270? My bet is just 1 unit for me, so I'm not in over my head. Just looking for the best way to earn. thanks
If you took em before the series, then wouldn't you be more confident right now after the last 2 games? They played em tough in LA as well. No hedge for you right now. Maybe before game 7 if you want to guarantee a profit but laying that type of juice is crazy copnsidering your bet.
Hedge SOME of it Refs will do everything they can to let Lakers win. -270 is cheap.
Dump it. You doubled your money and then some. Lakers 17-0 in Game 5.

Agree with FrankB, dump most of your position Keep a bit more such that you are still rooting for Oklahoma State. If you got 1,000 to win 8,000, then risk $6,500 or so on Lakers. Having said that, don't give away -275 on your whole bet immediately. Grab maybe 2k or so only to make .7 at -275, then put an offer up at -260 and -265 and try to get it filled. DO recognize you don't have that much time. The Laker game will close -6, and that will put pressure on the Series line UP. Having said that, no doubt some Lakers bettors too them -800 in the series, and may well say ")#$*%*(%# it" and will be looking to lock in a loss and may take your 265. They can talk talk talk about how good Okl City is AFTER/if they win. Bottom line, it would be one of the greatest upsets in NBA history, and those simply don't happen, partly because the refs won't let it. Ask Sacramento about this.
Thanks for the advice.

NBA surely doesnt want to lose the LA market if the Lakers were to lose, but it would give the NBA even more incentive to hype the new Wunderkind Durant.... they may just let this one play out. and considering how close/strong the West is and how poorly the Lakers finished the season, it's hardly one of the greater upsets in NBA playoff history
The Bulls didn't win the title the first time they made the playoffs with Jordan. By making OKC wait a year or two, it gets more eggs out of the golden goose.

Agree not that big of an upset though it is fairly big if it happens. Do not blame the refs.
I believe the only one that has happened in a seven-game series (but this is a small sample size still) was Golden State/Dallas, which was a great matchup for the Warriors. I've got a couple units on LAL tonight -270, but if the line keeps moving, I'd happily buy back. I am a sucker for scalps.
