NBA Preseason Wednesday [B]762 New Orleans +3[/B]
This is the mother of all spots for the Hornets tonight.
The Miami Heat played CSKA Moscow last night and won 96-85. It was an important game for them to show that the potential best team in the NBA/World is not going to lose to an International club.
Lebron James after suffering leg cramps/hamstring left in the 3rd Q is now out and also Dwyane Wade is out tonight. The other main Heat starters Bosh, Haselm and Jones all played 33+ minutes. They played hard and all out to win last night it seems clear to me.
Now, the Heat travels to New Orleans for a meaningless B2B preseason game. The Hornets 0-2, were shellacked by Orlando Sunday, but that was a B2B bad spot for them. The Hornets are healthy and should come out with their best effort of the preseason to date.
The overnight line was Miami -7, but that was with Lebron in the line-up and a possible easy game vs Moscow. The line has flipped up and down quite a bit and is attracting plenty of action. I predict this line will close -1.
