Would LOVE to book you under 40 right now regardless of the moves they might make. Biedrins? Turiaf? Randolph? Seriously? Curry is going to be a solid NBA guy for sure. Reggie Williams? Who in their right mind would trade for Biedrins/Wright/Randolph? Would anybody really want Cory Maggette? And ur suggesting that they might trade Ellis and still get to 40 wins? Outside chance at 46-48 wins in the west? Wall/Cousins/Favors is the order that I think you meant. Evans has already won ROY even though you had Jennings overwhelmingly winning it after he dropped 55 on .........the W's.........come on Burger your better than this.........Disfunctional franchise with an uncertain ownership setting.....with a " I don't give a shit coach" and they are going to win 40 in the West? Please tell me you have season tickets and then I will somewhat understand the euphoria.
Edsherpa,
I didn't say the line would be 40. I said between 33-37. If you wanna meet in the middle of that number (35) and book it we can set something up. What does "Biedrins? Turiaf? Randolph? Seriously?" mean exactly?
Do you not think their is value in 7 foot athletes between the ages of 22-28 years old?
No offense but if you don't know or realize how good Reggie Williams is yet then are soon to have your mind blown. Ask Joelshitshow about this guy...
You asked:
Who in their right mind would trade for Biedrins/Wright/Randolph? Would anybody really want Cory Maggette?
Are you nuts? You don't think in the NBA there is a market for these 7 footers all under the age of 25 who haven't even reached their potential yet?
While Maggs will be harder to move because he still has 3 years left on his contract there is always a team that can use a guy that can score and get to the line to add to their depth in a playoff push.
It was a typo on the which one of the guys in the draft they will take...it should have read Turner/Cousins/Favors.
As far as the Brandon Jennings comment...
Yes I agreed with another poster who had bet BJennings to win ROY that after that game and the way he had come out of the gate I (along with many others) thought Jennings was well on his way to winning the award.
The wrong guy ended up winning it anyway.
It actually should have gone to Curry.
Uncertain ownership is true, but let me ask you this....How could it get any worse?
Any change will improve things and no change won't hurt anything more than they have.
Don Nelson cares about winning. I don't understand why people tag him as "don't give a shit".
He cares. That is why all those kids played their hearts out for him late in the season like they did.
