NBA Totals for April 13th Got a few of them done but they took some extra time. No plays for me yet but I'm quite interested in a few.

I was a little higher when I did this otherwise I would bet this one already. I guess they went over in OT the other night but their games are slower than what I would think. I think the other games went under and the totals have all been around this number.
Hill starts for Collison if he's out and have to factor in that he's playing with the starters and not his usual group and it is only limited minutes but that unit is noticeably lower scoring and allows less. I don't want to make that the basis of a play though. The Pacers did get over with the Raptors and I liked that game under earlier this week. But both teams shot over 50% I think in the 2nd half and some late game drama pushed it even further over. Irving is out for Cleveland but they've found some ways to play a few hot games anyway. But they've also been low a few times.

Howard out so the sharp money is on the over given the stats on Orlando without Howard in the middle. These teams are really slow though. They lose Howard offensively. Just hard to make it such a clear certainty that without Howard there should be alot of extra scoring. I think the oddsmaker knew that Howard might be out and had the number at 181 because you can get lower for these teams without a problem so to go a further 2.5 pts on the certainty that Howard is out may be a stretch.

These teams can go really low. Already been under 3 times I think and no game at 180 pts yet. No Bargnani for Toronto this is just overlooked by everyone it seems. It just makes a huge difference. They are not as good a team. I've read Dr. Bob comment he makes no difference. That is just reading some stat probably +/-. To me there is a real risk of an offensive clunker without him. Add in no Kleiza and possibly Calderon and it will be hard to score. This is one of these low total games that could surprise how low it could really go I think.
But I haven't bet it the players involved I last saw as questionable. If they go the number is in range. But without the Raptors will really be scrambling to score in a game that I think could have as fewer than 85 possessions each.

I will back off the under here with Wallace out for NJ and they did play faster than I would expect last game. But I do think they were under in their earlier season meeting but didn't look into details.

Close to 100 possessions each in meetings between these teams. Both playing better defensively we know that. I'd have to follow an under here rather than bet it.

I actually like the over in the Heat game a little but not enough to lead a bet but I think the lean is that way from the sharp books.
