NBA Totals for April 16 I have some early games down such a big schedule taking some time to go through it. My number is the 1st number and the 2nd number is an average of the big books. 701 187.5 186 703 198 199 Love only listed as doubtful on my screen but I thought he was probably out. 705 181 181 Howard, Turkoglu and Davis now out for Orlando. I added 2.5 pts to the total to account for no Howard. Where is the scoring coming from for Orlando tonight with Anderson not shooting well. Hard to figure for me what to do with this game. Is it really an under with slow paced teams who are challenged daily to score and one clearly missing key guys who do score? 707 182.5 182.5 Right on the number again. I think this is the number though. How about the Raptors with 3 guys on 10 day contracts giving it their all and beating Boston and Atlanta over the weekend? The Raptors are too busy winning now to worry about pizza for the fans. 709 190 193.5 I bet this game under 195 with Williams doubful for NJ. I suppose if he goes the number will go back up but I liked this game a bit under anyway. Williams is worth quite a bit offensively for NJ as one might guess. I don't like that Wallace won't play because I really like his defense for NJ. Miami has put up 100 + both games against NJ. The first game in January had almost 100 possessions each but only totaled 191. NJ has shot very poorly both games against Miami. The last game was around 92 each I estimated which is what I would expect. Miami has shot 50%+ both games as well so I was hoping for some D from NJ to help an under along. Miami's pace has dropped clearly as the regular season has gone along from one of the top 5 teams in the league to now towards the middle. I'm also going to hope that the 98 possession game won't be repeated. I think 195 is the upper bound and I still see a sprinkle of those around on the screen and some 194 and without Williams I liked it under alot. With him I'm still okay with it

711 188.5 187 No Rose or Deng now for Chicago. I remember hitting an under earlier in the year on these teams and positive the line was 198 or 199. No interest here for me. 713 204.5 207 I think the under 208 was a good bet and the number disappeared. Now there were 100 possessions last night so a deceiving under by a wide margin. Lot of missed FT, poor 3 pt shooting during yesterday's game. I guess I like the under again but think I missed the number I wanted. 717 193 193 Right on it again. Nowitzki shoots well against these guys. 2 games that have gone over but the pace has been much slower than expected. One additional game went over a closer at Greek by 1 pt. All of those games totaled in the 185-187 range.

715 202 201.5 If I had more time to think about this game I might think it would be lower but market likes this over. I think Batum is out for Portland and he's an impact player for them offensively. 717 208 207.5 No Ginobili Parker or Duncan as they will be rested. I liked this under 210 that was around. Strangely Tony Parker's ind stats indicate he's more valuable defensively than offensively. The points the Spurs score when Ginobili is on the floor per possession must lead the league. Duncan is an impact player defensively. It sounds like under is fantastic but there are some defensive issues without these guys and the other guys score. The Warriors continue to score without Lee and Curry and the traded Ellis. I have a good bet it seems but I'm not overconfident. Note: I am now showing Parker and Duncan playing. 722 195.5 198.5 Pinnacle is 199. I said before when these teams met if I could get 200 it seems like a good under. It is close here. They play slower when they play than I would expect but they score very efficiently it seems and it is has meant 3 over's so far with the totals in this area before.
