NBA Totals for Feb. 8 What a slate this is. My number is the first number and the second number is an average of the big books. But I don't always lean the way my number may indicate I may lean.
501 189 191
503 192 192
Note this game was as high as 195.5. The Knicks will go without Amare and Carmelo. Jeremy Lin is getting all of the headlines after a few really good games. Jeffries picks up extra minutes and he definitely is challenged on the offensive end. I think the sharp bettors have made the right move to go under but not sure how much value is left to go under from these numbers IMO.
505 186 185
It is a Bucks game. Of course you have to like it over. Another factor is the recent play of Jerryd Bayless for Toronto and the return of Linas Kleiza a few weeks back. They're not quite as hopeless Toronto on the offensive end of the floor now. I have not bet it but if I get a lean pushing up I'll try to snag an over. I'm not really interested in the under unless somehow this steams under.

The Clippers games are tough. What a starting 5 so my aggregate always shows these guys as too low. Defensively as well. I can't say I have a lot of confidence in my number here and add in Billups being out and that is another factor. I was a few points even lower but had to look into it more and was just stunned by the stats the starters on the Clippers have.
511 188 188
I felt I was generous to obtain my 188 as the total. The Pacers are scoring 10 pts above their season average the past few weeks (not sure the exact number of games). I think eventually they may end up as an O that scores more than 1 pt per possession. However, they are also a good defending team and matched with Atlanta the game could be slow. A little step back for Indiana and the potential is there for an under. Jason Collins is out for Atlanta and in short minutes he can really cool a game off so without him an adjustment up needs to be made.
Sharp bettors have pushed this up from 184 and 185 and I think they're correct in doing that but this is a game perhaps with an extra push I'd get in on the under.
513 183.5-185 187.5
A few Pistons players may return tonight. They played last week and went over the total which was at a similar number with the game in New Jersey. Sharp bettors have pushed it up I assume from 183.5 and 184 to 187.5. Once again, it is probably the right move. Some caveats though is one needs to pay attention to the status of Gordon and Bynum as well as the starters for Detroit. I don't think there can be any more push up and have it make a lot of sense either.

A tough one without Kevin Love in the lineup. Hard for me to know if my adjustments are too much or whether my base line is off. Milicic questionable. It would be nice to see him in there as a starter. I might be much more interested in the under if he has the potential to log extra minutes without Love. Just my estimation but this line would be in the lower 190's is Love was playing.
