NBA Totals for Jan 25th Big slate tomorrow for the NBA. My primary focus is the NHL on their big days and today was about the busiest NHL day of the year or close to it. Not a bad day the last day for leans. That Rocket total got me by a point though. My number is the first number and the second number is a visual inspection average of the major offshore books.

There was a move over on Charlotte but it was muted. I actually bet it over 192.5 but now not so sure this is a good bet. The reason is DJ Augustin being out for Charlotte. When I originally did this number I was a few points higher and now not sure my adjustment is enough. It could be a fast paced game----but with a lot of misses. Not sure I know what Charlotte will do without Augustin. Tonight wasn't promising. It looks like the pace was slower than I would have expected for the game against the Knicks although the game barely stayed under. 2 rookie PG for Charlotte seems to spell trouble for their O. The game opened 191 which seems low based on stats but bottom line not sure it is so low. Tough game to figure for me.
I have already locked in a middle from 194.5 to 197.5 on Knicks so I'm quite happy. And my number is right in the middle. We'll see what the next move is.
The 76ers game has been bet under by bettors opening at 194 and I followed that for a small bet. My number is lower so I'm comfortable with the bet.

713 After being wrong twice in a row on Rockets game totals I come up the same here. No change in what I did but for this matchup . I think it might be because I'm higher than the oddsmaker on Milwaukee games so far and I'm lower on the Rockets so we have a case of it cancelling out and we get the same total projection.
719 Toronto is interesting for me since I think was generous with Toronto now back with Bargnani yet I'm a bucket lower than the oddsmaker. Utah has had some higher scoring games recently. The Raptor game tonight was a faster pace than their aggregate season stats with Bargnani back so there is some thought by me that it could go higher again tomorrow. Bargnani was a huge factor tonight vs. Phoenix with 36 pts and hit a bunch of 3's.
Will I finally get a Denver game right? I've been lower than the oddsmaker and the betting but beaten by OT twice last week. Very frustrating. Nuggets have been off a few days now could be a fast paced game vs. Sacramento. I'll be interested what the number is.
