NBA Wed 704 Cleveland +9
Believe it or not, this is a good spot for the Cavs, and if you have been betting the Cavs you have been winning and losing betting the Spurs.
The Spurs who are without G Tony Parker for a couple of weeks, took to the road last night and were shellacked by the Memphis Grizzlies by 17 points. Sure the Grizz are better than the Cavs but by 26 over-night? The Spurs are 0-5 L5 ATS. The Cavs have covered four straight and 8-2-1 L11 ATS. Yes, the Cavs will be without Antawn Jamison for the rest of the season and expect G's Ramon Sessions to continue to pour in 20+ a night and Anthony Parker to get back to 20+ per night starting here.
708 NY Knicks -2.5
Despite New Orleans having a better record than the Knicks, there is nothing else that I can say good about that team. They lost in another dismal effort to Toronto as a -6 point favorite last night on the road. The Knicks now without G Chauncy Billups tonight battled the Magic tough and lost by six. The Magic are hot and on a huge roll at home, but the effort the Knicks have put out night after night including their last home win against the Heat is far superior to that of what the Hornets are showing on the court. Melo and Stoudemire are better IMO and Chris Paul and David West. I don't see how the Hornets win or cover this game.
