Ncaa tournament/nit/cbi picks thread

528 OREGON -3.5 2 weight, greek OK to play this -4 also
Why do yourself what others might actually do for you?
Can you update the record?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bMs04JK0BQ
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bMs04JK0BQ
Funny movie... dumb comment.
Lean strongly to BUTLER ALF IS ON vcu, so I will resist picking Butler -2.5, but note I did bet it at reduced vig........

528 Cr/OR UNDER 141.1 1 weight Have to take a nibble......
584 Texas A+M/Stanford UNDER 134.5 2 weight One great bet............
Ok, I'm going to trust my instincts 812 BUTLER -2.5 1 weight Butler is going to win this game. If they lose their game, their great 2 year run will in many ways be lost.......like tears in rain.......with a loss to VC Who. Win this game, and even with a loss Monday, their legacy will be huge......BACK TO BACK finals. MEanwhile, Chacka Khan and Co. no doubt have been booking appearances on Letterman and receiving some much love from whatever State they live in, that you have to wonder if they might not just got blown out of the water here. One might argue, why didn't this happen in the Sweet16? I would argue it DID happen, FSU had these guys beat, but again 3 point shooting 12/26 trumps 7/19. THen the bizarre KU 3 after 3 game. AT SOME POINT, SOMEONE is going to figure out "HEY THESE ARE THE 4th PLACE TEAM IN THE COLONIAL!!......MAYBE I SHOULD STOP JOHN KELLY FROM BOMBING IN 3 after 3 and MAKE FAT BOY* DRIVE". *Apologies to VCU......they aren't fat, but you get the idea. BUTLER. WINNER. FURTHER, I am a big believer in the conspiracty theory. NO WAY the old fart NCAAs want either team to win it all, BUT NO WAY they want this VCU team to win it all.......they WILL NOT GET THE CALLS.

Can you elaborate on your theory, though... I looked back at the champ/runner ups and do notice save for memphis in 2008 and butler in 10 and , all were from BCS conferences. So what is your logic - low seed won't make finals or small schools won't make finals or non-bball pedigree schools won't make finals? I don't think the NCAA cares who will win this game because they will ensure they lose in the final. That said, I love RWS's analysis in the other thread. I got off of VCU after reading that.
NCAAs do everything possible to 'screw the little guy' Last year when Al Quida knocked off KU in the 2nd round, Northern Iowa got a HUGE call in their favor on a block/charge it could go either way call. I think that REF is STILL trying to get work. You just NEVER see a bad call against the evil big conferences......AT BEST the calls are fair. AT BEST. If there is a bad call, it ALWAYS screws the little guy. Contrast that with the Ref who called the charge on Baylor vs. Duke in the tourney.......or the ref who called the charge on UNLV vs. Duke. These guys no doubt get nice reviews, and heck yes, we will have you back next year to help Ky or Uconn or whoever needs it......
