Osu I like 539 Oregon State +6.5 over Stanford tonight. Stanford shouldn't be favored by 6.5 over anyone. Cardinals have two legit players and a bunch of junk. Stanford F Andrew Zimmerman is out with a stress fracture and the Cardinal are painfully thin inside. This is not good considering that Schaftenaar, the OSU big man, is playing well again after struggling with an ankle early in the season. He's averaging 15 points and 6 rebounds in the Beavers last 3 games and should really be able to do some damage inside tonight. They've got a developing freshman guard named Jared Cunningham who has been productive since added to the rotation.
OSU has struggled this year but are playing better since conference play has started. They've got almost their entire team back from last year when they beat Stanford 3 of 4 times they met (sweeping them in the regular season, losing in the conference tourney, and beating them in the CBI tournament). 6.5 if just too many points to lay with the team that I think will prove to be the worst in the conference. Half-point buy onto 7 is worth the 10 cents.
