Pathetic Day Sorry to any that tailed my shitty picks today. Kentucky didn't want to play in the 2H. Mavs didn't want to play all game. Terrible terrible terrible terrible. I'll do my best to make up for it. burg

Hey Burg...I really appreciated the big winners against the Wiz the past few days....I had Kentucky too and was stunned that they could only muster 8 pts in the first 12 min of 2nd half....thanks for your insight and plays even though today didn't go the way you thought

Anthony, feel free to delete this if you like. Just thought the board would like to know how people were doing so they can make a wise choice in who to follow with their hard earned dollars. Burger, here is what I have your basketball record at this season. NBA X: 1-2 -0.2 units NBA: 42-42 -8.73 units NBA All-Star Contests: 1-2 +2 units CBB: 10-16 -8.15 units When you did not specify a size, I counted the play as 1 unit. When you said 1/2 unit it was counted as such and all "big" or "huge" plays were counted as double units. This was a favor as sometimes, like last night for example, you would say something was a 4 star or the like but I only counted it as 2 units. When you specified a price, that is what I graded it as, when you did not I counted it at -110. The actual win/loss record is not weighted (IE- you have made exactly 84 plays in the NBA at various weights), but the units are.

There's nothing in our rules that says records can't be posted. Of course, when it turns into a fight, that's different. You guys sure love records, which I understand. I will simply continue to maintain that keeping them accurately is virtually impossible.

The guy has 105 totals posts, 18 of them (Or approx 18%) are directed at me and me alone. Something is weird about that. 2) Of his 105 posts over 60% of them are in a very damning and negative way directed towards others. I can't find one single pick posted by JP either. 3) His record keeping of mine is far from correct. While I haven't taken the time to go back and grade every wager he is missing many of my picks that are sometimes farther down in each day's thread when I start one. Also I see he hasn't taken into account my Hawks season win big play either. Also...you grade everything at -110 and unless otherwise noted all my plays are at -105. Anyone playing sports in this day in age that doesn't get -105 needs to stop what they are doing immediately and go get an out that gives reduced juice. They are EASY to find. With that said...I wouldn't gamble to say that I can guarantee I am overall winner here over a small sample size. I also took a hiatus during the easiest time of the NBA season to consistently win, this isn't an excuse. I'm just telling it like it is. I find it very suspicious that "Jackie Peanuts" was seriously concerned with record keeping in general. Why would he start with me? Regardless those who know me and have tailed from other boards know my track record. While I can no way "tout myself" that I can destroy NBA W/A lines in March/April regular season, those that know me know that from bell to bell there is no better in the NBA regular season than myself. If I didn't feel that way I shouldn't be doing it. What I can say is that my posts are (unlike many others) against W/A lines. I do my best to post in plenty of time to get down on the plays. I do try and contribute to the board unlike JP who simply seems to just want to be an instigator of drama. If I am overall loser thus far...so be it. If I am overall loser after baseball season and next years 1st 3 months of NBA regular season? Let's just say I'll post up my 20k against JP's 20k and we can see who ends up with the $ How about that?

Feel free to check back on your record. I combed through every one of your posts and did count plays that you posted later on in the thread. That record is as accurate as the day is long. Feel free to verify. You are right though, I did not grade your Hawks season wins bet. But you will also notice I did not grade your Knicks season wins bet, either. Which looks like a loser. Finally, I am not Jafar. And if 18% of my posts are directed towards you, that sounds accurate as you probably account for at least 18% of the volume of posts here at LVA.

The obsession with records is ridiculous just as blindly following someone's picks is absurd.
