GOLDEN ST –3' over Memphis – The Warriors suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday, dropping a 107-83 decision to the Lakers in LA. Golden St shot a miserable 40.9% from the field. Back at home, where they are undefeated this season, we expect continued perfection. To start, the Warriors are used to getting blown out by the Lakers and they continually respond with a performance that vastly exceeds the linesmakers’ expectations. Golden State is 9-0 ATS at home after a double-digit loss against the Lakers, covering the spread by an average of 16.1 ppg – winning every game straight up despite being the favorite in only four of the nine. Check out the two games from last season. Nice.
Also, the Warriors are a fantastic 17-0 ATS (+9.6 ppg) after a double-digit loss as a dog while shooting at least ten percentage points worse than their season-to-date average. In their three qualifying games from last season they; crushed the Pacers 126-107 laying 2’, whupped the Clippers 121-103 getting 5’ in LA and outscored the Knicks 128-117 laying 3’ at home. It sure looks like the Warriors respond favorable to a poor shooting performance.
It is also worth mentioning that the Warriors are 6-0 ATS (+16.3 ppg) when at least 65% of their baskets were assisted for two straight games and 13-0 ATS (12.2 ppg) when their scoring output dropped by at least 25 points over their past two games. Check it out with this SDQL text:
