Orlando +3’ over MIAMI – The Magic’s win over the Wizards was really an extension of the preseason. No Orlando starter played more than 30 minutes, as the Magic had the game won very early. As a team, the Magic shot 55.8% from the field, but this is misleading, as the subs shot relatively poorly. The Magic’s five starters were 29-of-42 from the field, which is better than 69%. We’re not sure how these two teams will compare in April, but we are very confident that the Magic is the better team tonight.
Orlando held the Wizards to 37.2% from the field and when the Magic are playing defense, they are very, very tough to beat. Orlando is 20-0-1 ATS (+9.2 ppg) since early in the 2006 season on the road after a home game in which they allowed less than 40% from the field. See for yourself with this SDQL:
