The undefeated Thunder take on the winless Jazz here. With two days off, we expect the veteran Jazz with Head Coach Jerry Sloan to put forth a quality effort here and that should be enough for the cover.
Utah is 6-0 ATS (+10.2 ppg) as a dog off a loss in which they never led, winning each of their last four straight up.
Utah was 3-13 from the arc in each of their first two games this season and they are 6-0 ATS on the road when they shot less than 25% from the three-point-line in each of their last two games.
The Thunder are livin’ large off their hot start, but they have a lot of player-based negative indicators here. Oklahoma City is 0-6 ATS (-11.8 ppg) in franchise history at home after a win on the road in which Russell Westbrook had at least 10 assists, losing all but one game straight up.
In addition, the Thunder are 0-4 ATS (-12.6 ppg) after a win in which James Harden shot worse than 33% from the field 0-4 ATS in franchise history after a win on the road in which Thabo Sefolosha shot better than 66% from the field and 0-4 ATS (-9.0 ppg) in franchise history at home after two wins in which Kevin Durant played more than 40 minutes in each. They lost all four games straight up and were the favorite in two of the four.
Finally, the Jazz are 7-0 SU and 7-0 ATS with rest off a home loss in which Deron Williams was NOT the high scorer and had eight or fewer assists. Utah has won these seven games by an average of 18.6 ppg (two as a dog) and covered by an average of 14.0 ppg. Grab the points.
