RAS WNBA plays are leaked early

Please do not twist my words: I repeatedly have only asked you to wait until 8:30, not 9:30. W.R.T...."zinging out accusations of wrongdoing without proper due dilligence", all I did was tell you exactly how this has played out for me this WNBA season (and several other seasons) and what BM said this morning. I listed those outs because you continually say that at 8:00am "the majority of books are open"... "over half of the most common offscreen softwares are up as well". That has clearly not been my experience. Would you kindly list several reputable offscreens that you are referring to so that I might set up accounts there? This is the only "public forum" (actually, I believe this is a private forum) that I go on to discuss this issue in hopes of rallying some support for my position. It is not my intent to trash your service; I respect it greatly or I wouldn't subscribe to it. I only subscribe to a couple of handicappers and I think you guys do an outstanding job of handicapping. That is why I am so frustrated by my inability to get down on your plays and at what I perceive as a lack of cooperation on the part of your service. If I didn't think so highly of your abilities I would walk away. Instead, I am trying to see who agrees with me (on this private forum) that we would be better served if you waited a bit longer. Just because many subscribers aren't giving feedback does not mean they wouldn't agree that a small delay would improve their ability to get down. I suspect many just take whatever number is available and hope for the best and get on with their day. That's not how I operate. LarryK is confirming that this would help in Vegas as well. Thank you Larry. You may have the last word. I will drop it now. As requested, please list several books you are referring to that have full limits at 8am. Thank you.
What happened to you at BM, didn't warrant a thread titled "RAS WNBA plays are leaked early" on this or any other forum, especially if you have the respect for us that you say you do. That is an accusation, not a description of what happened to you. Other explanations for what happened (someone held a game they thought the play could be on before release, BM subscribes to service and takes WNBA off the board at release time, BM using other countermeasures, etc.) are far more likely. You still haven't retracted your initial assertion. Being frustrated doesn't excuse it. As far as who is up, onscreen, in addition to Pinn/BM, 5d, BetOnline, Greek, Heritage, Jazz, Carib, Intertops, and several others (Check any line service for more). Offscreen, not going to give specific names, but all the numerous CRIS clones (ASI software), a bunch of Pinn clones, BO clones, and numerous other variations are all up. Well over a dozen that we monitor, and there are obviously a lot more that we don't. There are numerous euro/asian based sites that are up as well. I know you asked for 8:30, but I am familiar with all of the sites you mentioned, and none of them have WNBA up consistently at 8:30, and a few of them are known specifically not to go up until after our release. That is why I said we would have to wait until 9:30 to make an impact on the sites you listed. We'd consider pushing it back 20 minutes if it really made a difference. Name one or two that is up consistently at 8:30 and we can go from there.
This doesn't address the root cause (and I'm not sure that it can be dealt with in any case). If you move back the release time, books will probably just react by posting numbers later as well. What is needed is more outside money betting on WNBA, and I'm not sure how we get that unless Lindsay Lohan signs with the Sparks.
Speaking of which, how STUPID is the WNBA/USA to not have Becky Hammon on our US Olympic team. SHe's better than a few of the players, and good grief, how can this product sell without her?

For me, Bookmaker has been one of the hardest places to play RAS picks, 5dimes was a early problem. Don't even try those spots anymore. Clearly, it takes time and homework.

Maya Moore stood out.......and after Sue Bird's hip surgery this year, Hammon is better IMO........
Maya Moore stood out.......and after Sue Bird's hip surgery this year, Hammon is better IMO........
Not only is Hammon not close to either Moore or Bird (even this year's version) on the court statistically (regular or advanced) or visually, but Bird and Moore are also two of the most popular players in the league, so it wouldn't help "sell" the product any better either. Moore's jersey was #1 seller last year, Bird #8, Hammon #9. https://www.bizjournals.com/twincities/blog/sports-business/2011/07/moore-lynx-lead-wnba-in-jersey-sales.html Also, Hammon played for Russia in 2008 and will again in 2012, making it even more of a wild stretch to put her on the U.S. team.
Quite honestly, I've had no problems getting down this year in WNBA and have done it online. I didn't subscribe during college because of an extended leave I took from the state of Nevada in December and was concerned that dealing only with the internet world and with a netbook I wouldn't get down. There are some ways to know these plays without being a subscriber. I won't get into it but I did my best to get on the plays while away at worse numbers scoping value on 1st half, 2nd half, etc. or even game and yes I will bet a worse number than release. I'll tell you I worry more about the ones I ever bet at a better number than release. I'll pass on them sometimes quite honestly. Now I do resonate with a few things. I'm sure it is frustrating for Calsport but I think the accusation is out of line. I've tried Bookmaker and heck I haven't gone anywhere near the lengths Calsport has. It is not succussful at least for me. Whatever it is they're fast. The plays being leaked is a very heavy accusation. RAS and anyone affiliated who are aware of value with it can bet openers on games at will. If after it moves 3 pts they still think it is good why in the world would they bet it at the same time the subscribers are betting it? Obviously they risk their own record by betting openers and giving out plays 3 pts worse going the same way but that is life. I'm sure they've bet them and not released as the value is gone. Or maybe they don't bet anything. The bottom line is the service doesn't say they can't bet but it would be outrageous to think the top guys would want anyone betting this at the same time as the subscribers. I have also exchanged e:mails at one time regarding the 8 A.M. release because it is nice to have a back up book at a property to bet at. Quite honestly, I'm less adamant about that now. For one reason, these guys aren't as slow as they used to be out here and most of the properties won't appreciate or even give the bet anyways regularly is my opinion. You'll stand at Luckys and I don't care what time you bet it, I say it is 50/50 they refuse it. Stand their every day and try it I say they politely tell you they don't want it or give you a story someone else bet it. When I was once in Vegas, I did go to Paris which is a Harrahs book and I did get most of the plays. They opened at 8. I assume they still do. Unfortunately the Harrahs in Reno only opens at 8 on the weekend. I don't bother using it as backup for WNBA but I would for sure for college hoops on the weekend. Long term standing around Paris at 8 from November until mid January, what are the odds you survive? I don't know. Wynn has some pretty good numbers but they were 8:30 I recall but sometimes they wouldn't move them. The problem with a property backup is that it lowers my probability of obtaining the play online since I'm on a netbook with Wi-Fi as opposed to a desktop. Often times the property becomes the primary out in that case but sometimes I'll get them both and that is the idea. The RAS policy is pretty clear and fair. You can't get down. Take a refund and you're on your way. Unfortunately Cal you're not as well set up as you hoped for although it sounds like you've made a helluva attempt. But if your books don't have it or especially won't put it up until they release anyway and Bookmaker is noted fast----I think you qualify as can't use the service since you can't get down. Almost every pick and especially a total is scalpable. Someone will make a herculean effort to bet at Pinnacle or wherever the highest limits are and do it very quickly. It is simply a decent size scalp, probably a great middle opportunity, etc. If one is a large bettor it seems almost expected that you will have to chase down the number at least a little to fill your requirements. Even the Pinnacle limit might not satisfy some bettors out here. Obviously, you need RAS to do well and there is a risk of getting clipped a few units. There was a game Saturday that totaled 146 and there were some 146.5 out there. If you're a small bettor you're a winner with the 146.5. Need 5k? Oh well I guess you went under 145 and you lose.
Good news, I got down a limit bet at a major book today........ Bad news, I've failed there about 9 times before the thread opened here.......I"m sure it is a coincidence.
