RAS responds with a second later release time. Excellent customer service for giving it a shot. If nothing else, make it a little harder on CRIS when they are busier. Since they seemingly want to make things very hard on us this CBB season.

Amen! I encourage everyone to give RAS some feedback as to whether or not this change helps. I know it will help me.

The thread brings up some interesting points. Here are my comments. (1) As a subscriber, I like the change. I have had on e:mail with Edward earlier this year and it helps me. I understand where he felt it may hurt the service or it made no difference to many subscribers. However, as a Nevada bettor a later release time of plays gives me more of a chance of either getting the play at all or adding on to plays I did get. (2) To answer the original question, I was getting more than half of the plays but not all of them. The two items I want to follow up with are the following: (1) When I signed up this year I know RAS had a clause that said you cannot take the service if you're part of a sportsbook (or presumably more to the point don't take the service if you're in the administration of sports book lines). The thread seems to assume that sports books are subscribing. I'm going say No they're not based on that clause. I recognize there isn't sports betting police to enforce this and it would be hard for Edward to know if one was but I'm going to be pretty safe and say that nobody in Nevada is managing a book and using this service. If the lines move, they're moving on air or they're taking a bet. I would pretty much say the same thing about offshore. I just don't see it as being a requirement to manage Pinnacle or any of these places to be aware what the RAS plays are. They take sharp bets from all kinds of people. (2) This is much more controversial. Fezzik throws out that RAS Group MAY be popping these 2 seconds before release. Once again, there is no SEC in sports betting to enforce that you don't play before your customers. And I'm inferring that RAS and Edward are bettors but they may consider not betting in my opinion or stepping in AFTER their customers. I would think that RAS has all the bets it wants on these games because if this service doesn't finish more than 5 units up or 10 units up or even 15 units up it is that much harder to sell services next year. I would think that the leverage of winning these plays is plenty enough money for Edward and this service in terms of subscribers. If it isn't enough and the picks are that good, Edward can bet a half point off or more and win more. But it shouldn't be the customers that have to bet a half point off to win because of various leaks that are playing within their group or even people they've made bets with and unknowingly to RAS make bets elsewhere following taking the bet from him or their group. Fezzik being a bettor is NOT the same. We are familiar that his plays are weighted average AFTER he's possibly clobbered it somewhere else at better and this new line is the new average. (not all plays of course like Utah-6.5 the other day) I don't expect at all that Fezzik isn't betting first and trying to give strong plays he's made to us at a worse line but ones he really believes have a big enough edge they can win at the new line. I think RAS has every right to bet a game +9 and then release +8 if he thinks it is still a winner as well. I can't control that especially if the +9 is just an opener and before there is enough liquidity to bet. But I do think he shouldn't be popping +8 or anyone in his group at the same time and especially 2 seconds before. I'd like to hope that is not true and if it is perhaps an internal meeting to discuss that should be done. I think the service was 4-3 yesterday but I was 3-3-1. I played -2-105 at the Greek on a game that landed 2. I had no choice. There is not enough time to search another book. I recognize it was a push if it landed 2 when I made the bet of course and willing to take the risk. But the service managers have to know that they are up x units the customers are very much more likely up x-y and there has to a good attempt to minimize y. If you subsribe you need to do things to minimize y and so does Edward.

I am able to get 80-90% of the plays at the posted number mainly at theGreek for 2k. Pinnacle is impossible Cris, Jamaica, Heritage, 5dimes, Betmania, and a few others have put me on delay making them useless. I think the best thing would be for RAS to move the release time around. Seems to me it is always easier to get the first play than others (I don't think I've ever missed the first play line). Maybe 8AM one day, 9 the next, 7:30 the next, etc. I think the books are sitting there waiting at 8:05. Finally, I can't figure out why RAS runs a service. If I had Ed's CBB record, I'd be simply betting and if I didn't have the cash, I'd have investors. -Sean

I was surprised one of the contributors said he could bet at Bet Jamaica for the plays. I was put on a delay after playing one CFB total in 2009 from RAS. Could not get the bet with the delay at all.
