Rd 1 NCAA tourney picks 830) Clemson -1 vs Mizzou. Mizzou had wins vs the weak teams in the Big12 (Iowa St,Col,Neb,etc). Their uptempo style will be welcomed by Clemson who runs as well, just more efficient. 837) Louisville +1 vs Cal. No clue what funny stuff was going on last night, but I think somebody wanted this line held in place to get more volume down later, makes sense to me. 841) Ga Tech +1.5 vs little cowboys. Ok State is just not a good team, they are poorly coached, lack discipline and have a very weak defense which the jackets should find easy to exploit. Best of Luck

this year big12 > acc outside of a home win vs maryland and a 1 point win over butler many months ago, what has Clemson done? outside of a home win vs duke, who has gtech beaten? BC? Va? UNC? NCSt? yippee i dont disagree that OSU and Mizzy are.....not that talented. But hard to back these ACC teams either.

Perhaps you are right about the Big 12 being better, but after the 3 above teams IMO the Big 12 is not that good. Aggies would have been very good until their injury, but IMO the ACC just beats each other up and therefore the records in that conf are skewed. Having watched both Clemson and Mizzou play multiple times, I think line should be Clemson -3.5/4.

Big 12 by far had the best OOC record against the other power conferences. It wsa 28-12. The ACC was second at 24-21. I think that's a very telling story of how good the conference actually is. maybe it's a little much to lean on that one stat but IMO this is easily the best big12 conference i've ever seen. i think okie state also has some geography advantages, although i'm not sure how many cowboy fans will make the trek to milwaukee...
