wedn ncaa baskets We lost our play on New Mexico -7.5 Tues. The end game didnt go our way...a few missed free throws, a 3 pointer, some untimely fouls by New Mexico all ended up in a failure to cover by a bucket. Two overnights: 737 florida st +1 750 ohio -4.5 I just noticed that florida st should of been -1 ... my mistake...in any event the line is -2.5 at most books and I would not lay more then 1.5. Ohio is 5 at most books and I would still lay it. Nothing else this morning. But as always I will update my blog and twitter if anything new develops along with the overnights around 9 pm pst. Thurs ncaa baskets Wedn we went 2-1. Florida st jumped in the lead and lead by double digits the entire game, Ohio never really was in a position to cover, and we got a nice break with Marquette covering by 1/2 a pt in OT. Today 4 games from overnight: 535 Wisc -11.5 543 Nevada +2.5 549 Long beach st -1.5 517 Wright St -9 Another mistake by me...Nevada should of been -2.5 ...2 mistakes in 2 days:( I have made a mental note of this:) The lines on all four are a little higher this morning but I would still bet all 4 of these. As always if anything else develops I will post on my blog and twitter. With overnights around 9 pm pst. An email: "Rick. The FSU line moved to -2.5 by the time I was able to get at it. However I felt like this line may have had the most movement behind it as any play of yours all season. Therefore I played it ML -140. That was obviously against your strategy but I saw value in it. Thoughts? " My Response: "I dont chase numbers. If I dont get a play in my parameters then I pass on the game. I usually like to fade the big moves since I give a lot of respect to the linemakers. Some very bright people set these lines. It worked out for you...but over the long haul I dont feel its a positive approach." Friday ncaa baskets Thurs we went 3-1 in ncaa baskets. Wisconsin was an easy win as they blew out indiana by 29. Wright state never had a chance to cover. Our two small favorites both went our way in the last 30 seconds to cover in two very close games. Its always a nice feeling when those close games go your way at the end. Today 1 overnight: 827 Princeton +11 You can still get +11 at most books this morning. Nothing else I can see. But as always I will update my blog and twitter if anything else develops. Sat ncaa baskets Friday we went 1-1. Our college play Princeton +11 was an easy win. But our nba play clippers +9.5 slipped away in the final 5 min. Today there are 6 overnights: 691 coll of charleston even 621 Drexel -1.5 581 florida +1 571 akron -2.5 557 wright st -3 547 missouri st even The lines this morning are Missouri st -2... the most I would lay would be 1 Wright st -3.5 I would still lay that akron -3.5 I would lay up to 3 Florida +1.5 still a play at a better line drexel -2 still a play Coll of charle -1.5 still a play Nothing else yet this morning.
