biggest ball hog in the league. I am curious about what all put you on Golden State. That's good stuff, shorthanded, and with one of the eight avaiable going down to injury...
Pistons just butt raped by the NBA on this recent schedule.
They played early in the week at Sacramento then traveled south to LA and gave a game away late when Rip missed 3 straight free throws at the end of that game. Next up was a flight out of California into the thin air of Denver for their tough/emotional matchup vs Chauncey and the Nuggets and then today a back to back with travel back to California to round out a trip against the up tempo Dubs....all the while knowing they have a redeye to fly cross country back to Michigan.
The NBA set them up to get beaten tonight. Why not work it where they stay in the state of California to play those 3 Cali teams instead of making them make the triangle of flights from Sac/LA/Den and then back to Oak.....No chance I tell ya.
They were spent and had no chance tonight. It was a miracle that this wasn't a blowout.
Ellis being a late scratch (while I do like the way the team shares the ball without him) helped the Pistons early as the Warriors struggled finding the bottom of the basket. Biedrins left the game in the 3Q and didn't return (guy is the biggest puss ever in the NBA, gets hurt every game) and the world's best shooter Anthony Morrow (yes he is you just don't know it yet) goes something like 2-11 from the 3 point line.
Warriors dressed 8 players tonight, when Biedrins left they had 7, and CJ Watson has the stomach flu and was tested earlier in the day for Appendicitis.
Many healthy teams would have beaten this road weary and spent Pistons team by 20-30 points tonight easily.
Even the injury ravaged young Warriors could/should have won by 15 if they just make any shots throughout the game whatsoever.
These are the situational aspects of the NBA that you must look for and pounce on them when you get the opportunity.
Good Luck
