Shooter's 1/1 CBB

Shooter's 1/1 CBB .500 yesterday. 707/708 Creighton/Indiana State OV 134 (-108) Creighton off their worst shooting of the year at home vs. N Iowa (17-50, 34%) and Indiana State is now without best player and leading scorer Iowa transfer Jake Kelly for rest of season. Think both teams step up the scoring here. 709/710 West Virginia/Purdue OV 136' (-114) 2 of the elite teams who are also two of the better defensive teams. This will be a physical game with lots of stoppages in play and fouls and putbacks. 710 Purdue (-4') (-108) This is the game that Purdue may finally make the statement that they are an elite team. West Virginia has lived dangerously the last few games. They snatched 3 victories from jaws of defeat (at Cleveland St, at Seton Hall and vs. Marquette). They look like they are due to get handed a loss.
I love West Va's team, but their inconsistent PG play is going to keep them out of the Final Four.
Creighton loses the ball down 6 w/ :12 left and doesn't foul. Push. :(
711/712 So Illinois/Bradley UN 135' 713 Illinois State (+4') Veteran team versus young upstarts. I go with the veterans. 719/720 Dayton/New Mexico UN 140 720 New Mexico (-4) (-115) 1st H

717 Evansville (+16)
What a great halftime speech for UNI. Amazing
5-2-1. Yeah, that Evansville meltdown surprised me. Good number on the Illinois State this afternoon. The SIU/Bradley UN never had a chance. Purdue and the Over wins easily (Purdue proved today that they can win the whole f'n thing) and Dayton/New Mex UN was easier than final score indicated. Dayton made 3's down the stretch and New Mex missed a bunch of FTs. However, New Mexico with a superb defensive effort (Dayton 33% FG and was at 30% with 2 min left). Steve Alford is early frontrunner for National Coach of the Year. Team was picked 5th in the Mtn and already have wins over 4 potential and maybe likely tourney teams (Cal, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Dayton).
