Shooter's 1/21 CBB

Shooter's 1/21 CBB Good night on sides + terrible night on totals = .500 night. 507/508 Indiana/Penn State OV 130' (-108) 508 Penn State (-9') Played it at 9 earlier. IU is not ready to win on the road. Penn State is 0-fer in the Big 10, but they've lost close games for the most part. I expect a focused effort out of this club here. 555 Furman (+10') Don't trust Charleston and Bobby Cremins laying DD off a win over UNC and 3 straight road wins. 558 UNC Greensboro (-1) (-120) 3-15 club laying points to an 11-7 team? Gotta love that. 506 Seton Hall (+1') 559 Tennessee State (+5) (-115) 554 Citadel (+2')
565/566 Fairfield/Marist OV 134' 511/512 Mid Tenn St/UL Monroe OV 128' (-108) 512 UL Monroe (+2) (+100) Mid Tenn off huge win over WKU at home. Letdown spot here.
521/522 Valpo/UIC OV 132 (-108) 522 UIC (-2) https://www.post-trib.com/sports/2002730,bkc-inside-0121.article It might seem like the easiest two road trips on Valparaiso's schedule. But the fact that the schools are so close actually makes the trip harder. With every other road game, the Crusaders arrive a day or two beforehand. With UIC tonight and Loyola on Saturday, the Crusaders will drive up just hours before the game, getting off the bus just 90 minutes before tip-off. And that's assuming traffic isn't bad -- a long shot given the team leaves Valparaiso at 3:45 p.m. today. "It's out of the usual routine," VU coach Homer Drew said. "It's an hour and a half, worse if there's bad traffic, and you're trying to get focused and concentrated on the game. Whereas those teams, when they come here, they come down the night before and stay in their usual rhythm on the road. But we want our players in class." 515/516 S Alabama/N Texas OV 139 516 North Texas (-6) I like taking teams that are home favs that lost their last game as home favs, especially by DD.
523/524 Butler/Loyola UN 127 524 Loyola IL (+12) White-out for Loyola. Butler has turned up the "D" in the Horizon League. Loyola always gets up big-time for Butler. 570 Eastern Illinois (+11') Leading scorer Romain Martin quit the team earlier this week. This is a total gamble to predict the team's psyche; however, I think E Ill comes to play here and Murray, who is on a roll, takes them lightly. E Ill led Murray a few minutes into the 2nd H at Murray earlier this yr, but Murray blew it open. 525 Pepperdine (+12') 1st H 525 Pepperdine (+22) Game 528 Arkansas (+1) Arky is playing better at close to full strength. Florida is big-time banged up and hasn't even had full practices of late due to the injuries. 540 Cal Poly (-2) (-120) 531 LMU (+12) (-115) 533 La Tech (-3) (-105) 1st H 536 Fresno State (+3) (-106) Fresno has played better since going more uptempo.
543 Oregon (+11) Oregon 3 straight losses at home. I think they actually play better here tonight. 548 UCLA (+4) (-109) U-Dub riding high off the blowout sweep of the Bay Area schools. Good time to go against. 545 Washington St (+8) 549 San Diego (+14) 549/550 San Diego/St Mary's CA UN 137
529 Oregon State (+6') (-106) 551 New Mexico St (+1/2) (-102) 1st H 551 New Mexico St (+1) Game

sorry this is late. fwiw 561/562 Loyola MD/Siena UN 136 Loyola is lost on offense w/out Brett Harvey playing. Siena is also banged up and not playing a large rotation.
527/528 Florida/Arkansas OV 148 Should have played earlier. Florida not practicing a lot of guys can only affect the defense.
