Shooter's 1/5 CBB

Shooter's 1/5 CBB 14-6 last night. 723 Southern Miss (+9') 723/724 So Miss/Marshall UN 138 So Miss just got crushed at Vandy. Marshall seems to be rolling. Here comes the clinker. So Miss is a halfcourt team. The old credo is that it's always easier to slow down a fast team than to speed up a slow team. 728 South Florida (+1) (-105) Can't back the Irish with their terrible defense on the road. Statement game for USF. 725/726 Texas/Arkansas UN 147' (-104) 726 Arkansas (+14') Taking a chance that we won't get Texas's best effort tonight right before conference play. 720 Georgia (+5') (-115) 721/722 Rhode Island/Akron OV 147 (-108) 722 Akron (-1) (-102) Was hoping for PK here. Terrible spot for Rhody. They've been waiting 3-4 years for a big non-conference win and finally got it over Okie State. Now they go on the road to face a team they crushed by 29 LY (79-50). Akron much more athletic and talented this year. More later.
729/730 Minnesota/Purdue UN 139' (-102) Minny scored 86 at slow-paced Iowa. They are playing better team tonight, but they should go over at first glance, but Purdue is really good defensively. I think this game is in the high 120's. # is too high. Would lean Purdue but I agree with the line here.
Shooter do you keep records or just fire away?
I do keep records, I just haven't had time to updated them due to high volume of plays. I would say I'm around 60% for the season. 731 UCF (+16) UCF off home loss to Jacksonville. Ole Miss has SEC opener with rival Miss State on deck. Think UCF may have more focus here. 736 Colorado (-4') 1st H Compliments of The Dude. Miami-O hasn't played a game since 12/23. That's 12 days in between games. I think they may be rusty. 737 Iowa (+15) (-120) Illinois off two OT wars w/ Northwestern and Gonzaga. Iowa more energy here. I also like Iowa in the 1st H +8' (-112). 740 San Diego St (-3) (-120) Alford the better coach and New Mex has played better. I actually thought this line would open at -1' or 2. Tells me the oddsmakers kind of like the Aztecs here.
