Shooter's 11/20 CBB

Shooter's 11/20 CBB .500 yesterday. I'll calculate record later. 546 Howard (+20) (-105) Niagara off the having the ESPN cameras, visiting legends, and banner-raising ceremonies for their 8 AM Tuesday win over Drexel. Now they go hang out at the beach in Daytona against an 0-2 opponent. I watched Howard vs. Indiana. The kids played hard the whole game and played even with Indiana for majority of game. They had a bad final 5-6 minutes of the 1st H and got run out.
563 Tulane (+7) Penn State is the obvious play off yesterday's poor performance. Too obvious. 555 Georgia Tech (-5') 555 Georgia Tech (-3) 1st H Have a feeling Mason shot their wad yesterday. GT came out terrible and should be more focused to start the game today against a team with a hangover loss. 548 Georgia State (PK) GSU starts 5 seniors. Drake is playing lots of freshman. Drake, with five true freshmen getting extended minutes, has been punished on the defensive end in home losses to Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (88-82) and Iowa State (90-70). Coach Mark Phelps said the trip is a good growth opportunity for his team. It is going to test our depth," he said. "With a lot of new guys, there isn't necessarily a settled-in rotation yet. We're still feeling our way in terms of the best combinations on the floor. So I think the trip will be good because we will play three games in three days and be able to try out different combinations and see what works best." Josh Young, their best player is also battling a hip pointer. 558 Villanova (-5) 558 Villanova (-3) 1st H Nova got their scare yesterday. Respect Dayton a great deal, but Nova's athletes on the inside will hurt this club. Expect a better start out of Nova today. 566 UNC Wilmington (+14) (-105) UNCW played out their asses yesterday. Most don't expect them to do so again. I'll go contrarian and take a shot that they are more competitive than you would think. UNCW coach changed defenses a lot yesterday and caught PSU off guard. Think they can do the same to a young Miami backcourt.
Add: 573 East Carolina (+26) (-105) Tennessee off scoring 124 on UNC Asheville. ECU just lost to A-Sun Campbell. Thinking Tennessee may not have their most focused effort here even though I know ECU is terrible.

550 Akron (PK)
565/566 Miami FL/UNCW UN 148
557/558 Dayton/Villanova OV 142 (-105)
575 St. Joe's (+5) 1st H 575 St. Joe's (+8') Game BC gets 3 suspended players back (Dunn, Raji and Sanders). They may struggle to get into rhythm early. St Joe's on paper looks weak, but Martelli is a great coach who gets most out of his limited talent. They have 2 decent home wins over Holy Cross and Drexel. Martelli finds a way to keep this close.
588 California (+3')(-104) Cal looked awful. OSU showed fight and had a chance (small one at that) at the end. No one betting Cal here.
