Shooter's 2/7 CBB
I don't think OS was referring to Shooter when he was talking about 2 units on the 1st half and 1 unit on the game. I think his younger partner is the one doing that...not Shooter. Please correct me if I'm wrong, OS. Thanks.
Yes, you are correct. I was refering to my younger partner, not Shooter. I think Shooter is betting all for one unit. He is on top of CBB, including the fat-and-happy system. Shooter and my partner have been correct to fade these for both the first half and the game. Shooter has WAY more energy and knowledge of CBB than we do.

I don't have a system for wagering on these per se. I go on feel. If I like it a LOT, I bet more. This system seemed to be developed by a poster named Trotman on the old Beyond Capping Site. It is to fade a Top 25 team off a win streak of 3 or more. Those plays are called "Fat and Happy". There is another portion called the "Outsiders" that says to play ON a team that is outside the Top 25 that has won 3 or more in a row. I don't blindly play these. I still handicap the games. The fading of the Top 25's have been awesome so far and the Outsiders have been mediocre. For instance, Austin Peay on Thursay had won 3 in a row, and they were playing at Tennessee-Martin. I took UT-Martin +10 b/c Peay had a game upcoming at Murray St, who is now the best team in the OVC. Peay was looking ahead and only won by 5 and then they played Murray to the wire as a 14-pt dog.
Correct. He was only implying that Shooter was using others' picks as his own, to which I say "So what?" There is value in knowing that Shooter agrees with someone else's picks. This isn't Progressive Insurance. There *is* a discount for agreeing with him!
No, Shooter's plays are his own. He clearly is keeping his ears open for +EV systems and handicappers. The fat-and-happy system has evolved over three years at three different internet sites. It's a group effort (started by blogguy, a true sharp). I have NO argument with Shooters' handicapping methods. The argument over lines is OVER. If you bet CBB, IMO it's wise to check Shooter's plays.

Alright. I apologize for perpetuating this.
