Shooter's 2/9 CBB

Shooter's 2/9 CBB 523 Illinois (+5') 1st H 523 Illinois (+10) (-120) Game 523/524 Illinois/Wisconsin OV 124' A lot of points here for a team that needs this win. 525/526 Boston College/Wake Forest OV 137 Trapani out for BC, but I think the scoring will step up in his absence. 528 Providence (+4') If Marquette can beat Providence at home, then Georgetown should run them out right? 529/530 VCU/George Mason UN 143 530 George Mason (+4') VCU established themselves as the team to beat in the CAA beating ODU by double digits. Letdown spot here against Mason who is off 2 losses. 531/532 Tennessee/Vanderbilt UN 147 532 Vanderbilt (-1) (-116) 1st H 532 Vanderbilt (-2) (-120) Game Tennessee is not playing as fast or herky-jerky with the lack of depth. 533 Akron (-2) (-120) MAC East vs. MAC West. Take the MAC East team. 535/536 Western Michigan/Ohio U OV 140' 538 St Joe's (-1) (-115) Saint Louis just won at LaSalle, who is a little better than crosstown rival Saint Joe's, yet Saint Joe is the fav?
544 Evansville (+10') (-105) 545/546 Illinois St/Bradley OV 133' 547 Texas Tech (+6) OU off playing on Wayman Tisdale day and beating archrival Texas. Major letdown here. 549 Alabama (+8') 1st H 549 Alabama (+15') Game 549/550 Alabama/Kentucky OV 137' This is eerily similar to the Ole Miss game. The underdog doesn't have enough to win, but DOES have enough to stay close. Bama has a lot of athletes at forward and could potentially get Cousins in foul trouble. 551/552 Purdue/Michigan St OV 138' 552 Michigan St (-1) (-115) 1st H 552 Michigan St (-2) (-117) Game 554 Air Force (+3) (-111)
I don't understand the 528 Prov and the 538 st Joe picks. the comment attached to the picks seem to spport the other side.
Contrarian
I don't understand the 528 Prov and the 538 st Joe picks. the comment attached to the picks seem to spport the other side.
I don't mean to speak for Shooter, but I think his comments are from a contrarian point of view. For example, regarding St. Joe, I think he's saying that if St Louis is better than LaSalle who's better than St. Joe, then why is St. Joe the favorite...unless they're going to win, which unfortunatly, they didn't but he was expecting them to given they were a favorite when they shouldn't have been.
