Shooter's 3/13 CBB
I'm sorry Anthony. I am not trying to compete. It's just that I have a career and allot time out of my day every day to make sure I have plays posted. I am not a professional gambler. It takes a lot of time for me to do this and I just get frustrated and feel like I'm beating my head against a wall trying to earn respect.
The hell with respect. I would much rather have money. Just think: If no one respected your numbers, they would fade you. Then you could get down even more!
I think I've thanked you 3 or 4 times this year. Don't want to go overboard and be called an ass kisser, or clutter the board needlessly. On the other hand, you don't HAVE to post here (unlike Fezzik), so thank you again for the quality and quantity. I know I've said it a couple of times - it's been a good run. As far as the number of plays, I had to find a way to cut back, so I went with sides only. That's my issue, not a critcism of you - believe me. With regards to getting a good number, everybody has different outs, and locals on top of that. If you say you played a game at a certain number, who am I to say otherwise. I'm following here, so many times my number won't be as good. That's the price I pay sometimes, and I accept that. Because you post so often, many people take it for granted - and they shouldn't. By comparison, Fezzik doesn't post nearly as much. By all these people thanking him, I think they're trying to encourage him to post more. I don't make that statement as fact, just my take on the situation. That's enough rambling from me for now. THANK YOU SHOOTER, keep it coming.
BIG 10 SEMIFINAL #1: 530 Ohio State (-7) (-115) This is a big # to lay here. Too big IMO. Daring you to take the Illini here. I had Illinois yesterday. Wisconsin played their worst game in a couple years and still nearly came back and won. Ohio State got lucky yesterday on the Turner shot. I would expect to see more focus out of this team today. Wisky shot under 30% yesterday. No chance OSU comes close to that today.
MEAC CHAMPIONSHIP: 550 Morgan State (-9') or -10 (+100) Late to the party here and probably will kick myself for taking a horrible #. I had SC St on 2/15 on a Monday night ESPNU game when they won at Morgan outright as a 12.5 pt dog. Unlike the SWAC (the other historically black college conference), there is a talent gap in this league and Morgan St has the most.

How are we supposed to know? You play 80 games a day and I dont see a record attached anywhere....
I check in on your thread from time to time and I know its a ton of work to play all these games and then post them. The only reason i dont check in more often is because I follow the same cappers as you do. Im usually already on a lot of the stuff you post. Once again regardless of who what or when you get your plays, you win and thats all that matters. Being a handicapper of cappers and filtering plays is still hard work and just about everyone who makes money at this does the same thing. I would not want to be your bookie, and I hope you take this all as a compliment. Its impossible to have a career and cap 100 + games on a saturday alone. also I know you are successfull in the games that you cap on your own, however the contrarian approach is a style I have filtered out of my strategy. I have not had success with this method. Please dont take this post the wrong way. Me and you are very similar in our methods and as long as you are making bank, which I know u have this year then your posts will benefit many.
Some steam has been blown off. Let's drop it.
SEC SEMIFINAL #2: 519 Vanderbilt (-2) Miss State got pounded 33-20 on the glass last night by Florida. Miss State is another "bubble team" that needs a win. Gotta keep going against them.
I agree about dropping it. One side note, maybe LVA should let Shooter post for free? IMO, he certainly contributes more than he takes away from here. ATScrusher said something about Shooter "keeping this site going." That's especially true on slow days, because he'll always post something - and I look forward to reading it. They used to say Reggie Jackson was "the straw that stirs the drink." I view Shooter the same way around here. Like it or not, he says what he thinks. I can respect that.
530 Ohio State (-7) 2nd Half Agree with Alf. Illinois will not continue to shoot this well. OSU is bound to get hot. They are one of the best shooting clubs in the nation for a reason.
