Shooter's 3/5 CBB

I agree, down 20 points with 2min to go, foul foul foul. If a team is down by more than 3 possessions with less than 120 seconds to go, fouling is absurd imo. I don't care if it's against 3rd grade girls or their conference tournament.
833 Kent State (+3) (-106) Akron was smart scheduling senior night the game prior to this one. This is for the MAC Title, #1 seed and NIT berth at least. Kent has 6 seniors. Akron HC Dambrot called Kent "a great team only when they want to be". Translation, they don't always play hard. Kent has 6 seniors and are more athletic than Akron. 835/836 St John's/DePaul OV 123 I'd advise not to play my totals, but I do like this one. 837 UC Riverside (+8) UC Riverside has to win this one to guarantee a trip to the Big West Tournament. They swept the other co-last place team UC Irvine, so if they tie, Riverside plays in Anaheim and Irvine goes home.
HORIZON LEAGUE Q-FINAL #2: 837 Cleveland State (-1) (-120) Split the series this year and Milwaukee covered both meetings. In a tournament setting, I will take Gary Waters over Rob Jeter any day of the week and twice on Sunday (or in this case Friday Night).
CAA 1ST ROUND GAME #4: 845 James Madison (+5') (-108) Drexel only shoots 37% on the road.

OHIO VALLEY SEMIFINAL #2: 870 Morehead State (-6') (-115) 1st H Tennessee Tech as the #6 seed upset #3 Austin Peay. Morehead and Murray have been the best 2 clubs in the OVC all year and they are on a mission to meet each other in the rubber match. I like Morehead to come out focused here and try to put these guys away early. Tenn Tech was one of the worst defenses in the OVC all year. Murray outrebounds opp by +8 and Ten Tech gets outboarded by 2 a game. Tenn Tech allows almost 48% from the floor and 39% from the 3.
MAAC 1ST ROUND GAME #2: 873 Marist (+12) (-107) I can see Marist looking at this as the start of a new season. They pulled the upset last year in the play-in games as well.
WCC OPENING ROUND GAMES #1 and #2: 875 Pepperdine (+9') (-109) In LMU's L4 games, they upset Gonzaga at home, then upset Portland at home in OT, then won at San Diego as a dog in a tight game and finally stayed with St Mary's on the road the whole game before losing by 8. That's 4 straight big efforts for this team. The clinker has to come at some point and it may come here. All those previous 4 games were as a dog and now they lay almost 10 on a neutral site. Big difference even against lowly Pepperdine. 877 Santa Clara (+4) Line moving the wrong way here. San Diego, with all of their injuries and player conflicts with Bill Grier, seems to want the season to end. I watched Santa Clara when they got down by a decent amount to Portland in their last game and they kept clawing and fighting. They also have the better defense.
Shooter, Let's get the DePaul over with a little bonus basketball !!!
no drama in this game as we move on to Dbl OT. Maybe this is where the worm turns. The only game of the night I see thus far that goes to OT and finally catch the right side !!!
