Shooter's 5/15 WNBA Trying my hand at these. I am not a longtime bettor of this league however.
601 Los Angeles (+4') (-109)
The post Lisa Leslie era begins in LA. Parker as good as anyone in this league. When she returned to the lineup, they closed out the reg season on a 10-2 run. LA not the best supporting cast, but this is a play against the champion on ring day. Phoenix is without Cappie Pondexter now.
605/606 Washington/Indiana UN 148' (-105)
Indiana is as good of a defensive team in the WNBA. Julie Plank, longtime Fever asst, takes the same approach with the Washington Mystics.
607 Minnesota (+5') (-111)
Tulsa is the former Detroit Shock and they have 7 new players. Minnesota is w/out Augustus and Wiggins for the first month, but I think this Nolan Richardson experiment in Tulsa will fall flat on its face right away.
609 Atlanta (+4') (-107)
Atlanta was the most improved team in the league last year. They won 18 games after winning 4 the season before. Same team as last year. San Antonio is usually a good club and they will be again. However, longtime coach Dan Hughes stepped down and is now just functioning as the GM. New coach is former asst Sandy Brondello.
I expect a lot of ups and downs with these. All I can do is hope for the best.
