Shooter's Sweet 16

Shooter's Sweet 16 48-37-1 NCAA Tourney (58%) Salt Lake City: 811 Butler (+6') Butler has not been their usual great shooting self. The guards they have (Nored and Mack) aren't that great as shooters like previous Butler guards (Avery Sheets, Mike Green, AJ Graves, Bruce Horan, etc). However, they are able to get to the bucket and shoot at a decent clip. Both teams have guys in the middle that they can't afford to get in foul trouble (Cuse-Rick Jackson and Butler-Matt Howard). Both guys have had their problems with fouls this year. I see both teams getting some easy buckets inside. 813 Xavier (+5) 813/814 Xavier/Kansas State UN 152 K-State is as athletic as anyone, but they are terrible from the FT line and turn it over more than they should. Syracuse: 807/808 Cornell/Kentucky UN 146 Kentucky will take bad 3's cause Cornell will zone them. Kentucky took 33 3's against ETSU in Round 1, they hit 15, but they will take the fool's gold and chuck up their fair share. Cornell also will not keep shooting that well from the outside. That lasts 1-2 games in this tournament, but it doesn't last forever. 809/810 Washington/West Virginia OV 140 West Virginia was my pick to win it all because they can play at any tempo. Washington will try to push it, but West Va is willing to play at a fast pace. CIT: 816 Appalachian St (-2) (-115) 1st Half Pacific had a long trip out east and then had to bus it in from Atlanta. 5000 miles of travel in 4 days.
815/816 Pacific/Appalachian State UN 134' # soared big time, but I think it may be coming down.
811/812 Butler/Syracuse OV 73 2nd Half Neither team hit many 3's. I expect some adjustments by both clubs. As well as the foulfest since this game should be within 4-7 pts either way.
What a terrible no-call at the end there. Fucked yet another Under for OT. Under completely the right call here.

Xavier +5 may be fucked too. A solid winning night goes to a losing night and me begging for a .500 night.
3-3-1 NCAA Tourney last night. 51-40-2 overall. St. Louis 873/874 Northern Iowa/Michigan State OV 121 When Lucas was out in reg season, Michigan St went way over at slower-paced Illinois. 875 Tennessee (+5) 875/876 Tennessee/Ohio State UN 135 Ohio State's starting 5 is as good as any, but their lack of depth is going to get them at some point. Tennessee is not as uptempo as people still perceive them to be. 2 good defenses here. Houston 877 Saint Mary's (+5) 877/878 Saint Mary's/Baylor UN 142 Loved Baylor all week and took them to go to the Final Four from the beginning. However, I'm playing small here since the whole world is on Baylor here. 879 Purdue (+8') (-105) 879/880 Purdue/Duke OV 126 Outside from Cornell, Purdue was the biggest dog in the Sweet 16. I said from Round 1 that Purdue still has some good players. Are they as good without Hummel? Of course not, but these lines are getting generous considering Duke won by a ton at Purdue last reg season and that was with Hummel.
875/876 Tennessee/Ohio State UN 135
BW strikes again. Ripping up my ticket now. Fuck!
BW strikes again. Ripping up my ticket now. Fuck!
Everytime a number moves it isn't Mr. Walters.
Everytime a number moves it isn't Mr. Walters.
I know that.
875/876 Tennessee/Ohio State UN 76 2nd Half OSU is not going to shoot 56% for the game. Teams will keep chucking 3's and they won't go in this next half.
