Subscribed threads

Subscribed threads Anthony, I heard from one of the members that you can subscribe to a thread and only get notification when a certain member posts in that thread. Can you please let me know how to do this?? I posted this publicly as Im sure there are others that would like to know how to do this. Thanks.
Last we heard this was not possible. What works for me is to attach a Gmail address to your acct here, because you get that free preview of the first so many characters of the message. Usually you can see the username of the person who replied, so if it isn't what you're looking for, then you can just move on. You also will need to change the setting so Gmail doesn't couple messages with the same subject line. Hope this helps.
I'm lousy at the tech things. I'll have Dale from IT respond.
Subscribing to threads Yes you can subscribe to various threads, but it is not possible to only receive from certain posters. There is sort of a work around: If you subscribe and select "Get instant notification by email" then you can filter out those posts that contain people you DONT want, or direct to a folder those from people you DO want. Gmail filters work really well for this.

Have it set up automatically to my blackberry, however once the first notification comes you must load the thread in a browser to get additional ones. Anyway to disable that and just keep receiving notifications? tg
I dont frequent the boards so I would need 2 different people to reply to this thread so I can check functionality.

Thanks guys Yeah it looks like at the moment there is a one notification limit. I think I can upgrade and get it to email without the required visit. I will check on that. Is this a feature others would like?
