Sun 11/28 CBB OLD SPICE CLASSIC: 719 Texas A & M/Temple OV 119 3rd day of tournament often leads to higher scoring, especially with 2 lower scoring teams.
262-241-7 (52%) +1.21 If I don't want bad beats, I have to play less games. I must have had 5-6 (lost count) unders I lost that go into OT in the last 2 days. Can't do that anymore. I have to refocus energy and only play the plays that immediately stand out to me.
Every once in a while, you talk about being more selective. I'm not sure you can do it. It's not your style. Your name is SHOOTER - that means you like to fire away. Not a criticism, just an observation. If it's any consolation, the pro handicappers haven't had much luck going their way either lately. Keep firing. Without you and BP, it would get boring around here real fast. Even when I don't follow your stuff, I still appreciate the input. Thank you both.
I agree with bigrobbie. Keep firing Shooter, you're a proven winner.

I do the same thing myself adding plays that are marginal. I have to constantly back myself down.
Just a thought, maybe Shooter can list some selections as plays, and others as a "lean" - like other cappers do. That way, his record is only based on what he really likes, but he can still offer all the input that he currently does.
760 Tennessee Tech/Michigan State UN 150' 717 Colorado/Harvard UN 144'
OLD SPICE CLASSIC: 733 California (+1) Disagree with opening move. People tend to pay way too much credence to the previous game where Cal had 5 points at half. They are a much more offensively efficient team than that. Just had a bad day.
GLOBAL SPORTS ROUNDBALL CLASSIC (Normal, IL): 747 South Dakota (-4) (-105) 747 South Dakota/UL Monroe OV 137' South Dakota got buried by Illinois St who UL Monroe played super tight last night. SD also lost to Jacksonville St who Monroe beat. Yet SD is the favorite? Hmmm. 762 Princeton (+1') 1.5* Siena won their conf opener on the road at Rider and Princeton lost as a DD neutral site fav to Presbyterian. Letdown spot for Siena.
760 Tennessee Tech/Michigan State OV 75' 2nd H 52 at the half with very few FTs and fouls. Have the under 150'. 23 point middle opportunity. Gotta go for this.
