Tues 1/18/11 CBB 505 Tennessee (+5)
Georgia can beat mightly Kentucky at home so surely they lay over Tennessee, right?
508 Colorado/Nebraska UN 134'
Colorado scored 75 on Ok State Saturday, but they only shot 18 for 48 (37.5%). BUT they were 34-39 from the FT line. OK State was the first team they played in the league that really defends well in the halfcourt. Well now they play a team that might be the best halfcourt defensive team in the league (aside from Kansas). Nebraska was able to slow the pace at Kansas. They can do it here as well.
510 Seton Hall (+4) (-108)
3rd game with leading scorer Jeremy Hazell back in the fold. Georgetown is inconsistent and can't be trusted yet as road fav in this spot.
512 Michigan St/Illinois UN 136
512 Illinois (-3')
Illinois finally comes home and needs a win like blood here.
515 Evansville (+4') (-109)
The Aces were getting 12.5 LY at SIU and lost by 16. Now they only get 4.5. Hmmm.
522 Michigan/Northwestern UN 133'
522 Northwestern (-6')
Michigan played their worst game of the year at Indiana, who was winless in the Big 10 at the time. Michigan is one of the youngest teams in the country and they will struggle on the road in league play big time.
525 Kentucky/Alabama OV 132'
526 Alabama (+5)
Alabama is an excellent defensive team, but this will be the best offense they played. That being said, UK is still young and laying points on the road in conference is still a dicey proposition as they proved at Georgia.
527 TCU (+11') FH
527 TCU (+21) (-104) Game
BYU could be reading their own press clippings now that they are top 10 and ESPN and all the national media is talking them up.
