UNLV +anything

UNLV +anything Rebels are supposedly a 7 point dog at home to Louisville. Take any points and the money line. YTD: 1-0
line is louisville-3
Official Pick: UNLV +3.5 (M Resort) vs. Louisville.
Add to it UNDER 144 (2-weight) UNLV does not play high scoring games against good teams. This is a much more potent offense, but Lon Kruger will try and keep the game in check with fewer possessions and try to outcoach Pitino, just like last year. Both teams lost 3 good players. Two great coaches won't allow for a track-meet shootout.

game is on Versus network if anyone wants to watch. So far, so good for UNLV
It's crazy loud in here (@ game) Louisville should tire, as Unlv will likely turn up the tempo with their 11 man roster.
Unlv + Ticket cashed - thank you
The total losing on a last second garbage 3 pointer was a dagger through my chest. Oh well. UNLV is really deep and will be very good this year.
UNLV is going to be a blast to follow this year! Deep, deep bench could make them a strong 2nd H play in many situations. Strengths: depth, guard play/penetration, coaching Weaknesses: inside game, 3 pt shooting This team appears to be deep enough to be consistent and have the ability to hang with any team, as Kruger can play the hot hand and keep players fresh with their depth. What scares me is their absolute lack of any inside game -- they can get beat handily by a team with a true big man. They will continue to do very well against most teams, but when they see a true big man, they will get killed on the post and on the boards, plus they will likely lose some of their dribble penetration abilities. Add a big man or even a consistent 3 point shooter to this team and look out! This needs to be the absolute focus of recruiting for next season!! Much of their talent is young too! OK, time to get off of my homer soapbox... just glad to see such hope again for the UNLV hoops program.
