USA-Turkey

USA-Turkey gold medal game. line USA -10.5 Turkey has been as impressive as the USA. They have beat common opponents by about the same margins. Game is in Turkey and they will be fired up like USA was in 1980 Lake Placid. Turkey will fight like mad dogs and I think this game will be close. pick....Turkey +10.5
I'm on this one as well. Huge HCA edge for Turkey. Refs may feel pressure to give them calls as well.
Durant vs Turkey. the team, the whole arena and the country. tied so far. this Durant guy....not that bad
Durant is murdering them and they are selling out to try and stop him. not working!
Durant vs Turkey. the team, the whole arena and the country. tied so far. this Durant guy....not that bad
He's the best player on the planet IMO.
I have to step in here. He is not even in the top 5 players in the NBA. He scores a lot on team that needs his scoring. He takes a lot of shots to do it. Don't get me wrong...he is an incredible player, but he is nowhere NEAR the best player in the world.

The only ones you can make an argument for are Kobe, Lebron, Wade and Dirk. The international game and the makeup of this roster forced him to develop an inside game. He no longer has to take a ton of outside shots to score. He is getting physically stronger (notice his improved rebounding last season). This international experience did wonders for him. He will be even better this upcoming season.
Kobe Lebron Wade Dirk CP3 Deron Williams Carmelo Just to start with...
Would not rank Paul, Williams and Carmelo - all very good, above Durant at all. Point guards are very rarely considered the best players anyway, b/c their position has a more specific description than wing players. He's only 21 years old. He's going to be a multiple time MVP.
He's only 21 years old. He's going to be a multiple time MVP. I don't disagree with this. But he is not the best player on the planet. The best players on the planet chose not to play on this FIBA world championships team.
