memphis got their butt kicked somehow got up 3 in 2nd ot but needed miracles to get there with city distractions due to flooding and the nba refs sure to favor the sexy okc, i think the mem firms are finished
Can you admit this series has been much closer than you originally anticipated?
I'm guessing by 2nd u mean 2nd half, because they were up by 18 I'm the first half. Okc showed a lot of toughness, and I like their coaching to get them back in it. But their execution in the last two minutes of the last two games was just beyond horrible. Memphis, outside of two of the luckiest shots ever, looked equally as bad but for a different reason. They had guys trying to take over and do their own thing instead of running the play, or else a good shot just bounced out. Who knows okc may have had the perfect defense called and that's just how it looked, but what I saw, holding a okc ticket mind you, was when Memphis had to have a basket it looked like they were about to get it, had a good play, good timing, they just missed it or oj mayo took a sorry shot. Okc looked COMPLETELY lost at crunch time...I hope I'm wrong because id like okc to win but I wouldn't throw any dirt on Memphis yet...amazing how different the game gets at with under 2:00 to play.
I think he was referring to the 2nd overtime, when they took a rare late-game lead and then lost it. I don't agree with your assessment of OKC, but basketball is not my strength. I am going to stay off of Game 5 for now.

2nd overtime, understood. Give me your assessment, its what its all about. Only thing I can promise is mine isnt influenced by the announcers, I watch with the sound off...
Durant and Westbrook just wore them out. These guys are my favorite players. Look at their intensity, athleticism, energy they bring, scowls on their faces. Love this team. If LeBron did this at this level he'd already have his championship IMO. Okay got that off my chest. Saying that I agree they're a little scrambled on their final plays. Westbrook is great but not as great as he thinks he is. He is making mistakes. The announcers are correct. He doesn't get the ball enough to Durant. Randolph completely blew an easy layup that hurt Memphis. And he had a few easy chances that he was off on. I agree OkC was good but could have been better and Memphis could have done a better job in quite a few situations. It was a lopsided OT but Memphis had at least one good chance to win the game on Conley's missed 3 that should not have occurred and perhaps a few more buckets by Randolph they would have been in better position to win. Durant and Westbrook will play 5 OT if they had to and be fine for the next game. Could have played tonight.
