Wed 11/24 CBB

Wed 11/24 CBB 22-24 yesterday 11-6 on full game sides (6 outright dog winners), 10-10 totals. 1-8 on 1st H and HT plays (0-5 2nd H sides). Needless to say, I will reduce my Half plays. 197-173-6 (+6.97) 742 Oklahoma/Chaminade UN 138'1.5* 742 Chaminade (+16') 1.5* Capel was not happy with his team's defense yesterday. I expect Sooners will play better, but not enough to get away from Chaminade.
749 Presbyterian/Princeton OV 56 1st H Neither team if very good defensively despite low totals. Princeton ranks 247 in effective FG pct and Presbyterian 338.
3-0 start (2-0 on forum today - played Chaminade +10 at half but was away from computer for a while). 766 Wofford (-12') Wofford has played a murderer's row schedule to start the season. at Minnesota, at Clemson (only lost by 8), Georgetown on a neutral (close game until a few min left) and beat George Mason on a neutral. Only one of 2 non-conference home games for Wofford and their home opener. Air Force is smart and disciplined, but they don't have the athletes even to man up with Wofford. Air Force turns the ball over way more than Wofford. This is a team Wofford can finally beat down a little.
PRESEASON NIT (Madison Square Garden - NYC): 757 VCU/Tennessee OV 146' 758 Tennessee (-3') (-103) Somehow I'll feel like a sucker here for taking the over, but both teams practice against a press everyday. If you run it on defense, you should be able to break it on offense. VCU looks like a really public dog here. Touts loving them. I think the Vols may be chomping at the bit to play and prove a point in light of the whole Pearl and NCAA investigation. Tennessee also got knocked off and dominated by Butler in this event a few years ago. They won't take VCU lightly.

CANCUN CHALLENGE: 754 Wyoming (+9) 2* Providence is officially the dumbest team I've watched this year. They give more layups than any team in America.
751 Bucknell (+7')
726 Rhode Island (-8') URI lost to horrible and rebuilding UIC in Toledo. They have 3 guys injured. I see a good effort here. They really had their heads low after that loss to UIC. Focused favorite here.
766 Wofford (-8') (-115) 2nd H
728 Youngstown State (-12') On initial look, who the hell is Y-Town to lay this # to anyone. Yes, Toledo covered against URI and Charleston, but those were on a B2B and a 3rd game in 3 days situation.
729 Central Michigan (+4) 1.5* CMU off bad loss at So Alabama. UIC off improbable upset vs. URI. 731 Evansville (+4') 1.5* 783 North Dakota St (+18) Minnesota is all of a sudden a threat to win the Big 10 after beating UNC and West Va. NDSU kids would have loved to play for the neighboring Gophers. 786 Oral Roberts (-7)
